Patricia M. Carmichael, 87, died Dec. 4 at Milford Hospital. She was the wife of Richard L. Carmichael. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Schmutz) Mullin.

Pat was a true fan of the New England Patriots. Gardening was a favorite pastime. She loved playing in the dirt. She spent as much time as possible on the Cape and enjoyed the “tribe.”
The word family was too small for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Maureen Zachary and husband Mark of California, and Edmund “Skip” Mullin of Ipswich.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street, Hopkinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, Dec. 10, from 4-7 p.m.
