Theis named HHS interim assistant principal

Laura Theis was named interim assistant principal at Hopkinton High School, the school announced Tuesday. Theis fills the spot vacated by Josh Hanna, who left to become principal at Franklin High School.

According to her bio on the HHS website, Theis came to Hopkinton in 2012 as a Spanish teacher. She has a Master of Education degree in Spanish from Framingham State University. She graduated from Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and secondary education.

HHS principal Evan Bishop indicated that Theis will serve as assistant principal for the 2020-21 school year.
