Water on East Main Street to be shut off Wednesday morning for hydrant replacement

by | Aug 2, 2021 | News

Due to the replacement of a fire hydrant, the water line on East Main Street from Clinton Street to the Ashland town line will be shut off for several hours this Wednesday (Aug. 4), starting at approximately 7:30 a.m., the town’s Water-Sewer Department announced.

After the water is turned back on, residents may notice some air and discoloration and might need to let the cold water line run in order to help clear the line.
