June 22

8:33 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator driving on the sidewalk on Ash Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Benjamin Stickney responded and subsequently arrested Kristina A. Armstrong, 50, of 61 Front Street and charged her with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and drinking alcohol from an open container.

 

June 23

2:05 a.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hayden Rowe Street and Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Brian Sanchioni responded as backup. Gabriel B. Torres, 28, of 178 Winch Street, Framingham, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, marked lanes violation, speeding in violation special regulation, and possession of Class B substance.

 

July 5

12:52 a.m. Officer Brendon Lyver conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ash Street and subsequently arrested Anthony V. Arena, 25, of 98 Front St., and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

 

July 6

12:31 a.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone checked on a motor vehicle on West Main Street, and officer Ryan Polselli and Sergeant William Burchard responded as backup. Two individuals were arrested on narcotics violations. Sonya Atone, 30, of 58 Pleasant St., Ludlow, Vermont, was charged with possession of Class A substance. Ethan T. Pinsonneault, 22, of 81 Elm St., Barre, Vermont, was charged with possession of Class A substance and false name or social security number at booking.

12:46 a.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone assisted the Westborough Police Department in transporting a prisoner from West Main Street to Westborough.

7:36 a.m. A John Matthew Road caller reported her mailbox was hit by a vehicle overnight and destroyed. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and took a report.

12:30 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded to a juvenile assault at the middle school on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Stickney took a report.

12:44 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious male on Cedar Street with low-hanging pants, carrying beer bottles. Sergeants Joseph Bennett and Arthur Schofield and Officer Stephen Buckley responded and located a vehicle and the man, who was out collecting discarded cans from the side of the road. All was OK.

1:33 p.m. A caller reported a deceased cat in the roadway of East Main Street. The DPW was notified.

2:02 p.m. A caller reported a possible check scam. Sergeant Arthur Schofield spoke with the caller and reported no pertinent information was given to the scammers. The caller was advised on how to prevent future fraud.

2:43 p.m. A caller reported larceny by her contractor. Sergeant Arthur Schofield spoke with the caller and took a report.

7:16 p.m. A Coburn Road resident reported a computer scam. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and a report was to follow.

 

June 18

12:04 a.m. A caller reported hearing three gunshots on Ash Street, near Center School. Officers Brian Sanchioni, Jay Deiana and Ryan Polselli responded and spoke to a homeowner in the area, who heard nothing. The officers found all quiet upon their arrival.

11:47 a.m. A DiCarlo Road resident reported losing her driver’s license and wanted it logged. She called back and stated someone mailed the license to her.

12:36 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney met with the middle school principal, a student and the student’s parents and assisted them with an incident.

1:05 p.m. A Downey Street resident reported someone broke in to her house in the morning. Officers Stephen Buckley, Benjamin Stickney and Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and a report was to follow.

2:24 p.m. A walk-in reported there were a bunch of youths hanging out at the Town Common on Main Street. Officers Stephen Buckley and Benjamin Stickney responded and reported the group had dispersed.

 

June 19

12:55 p.m. A caller reported finding a power drill in the roadway of Spring Street. The information was logged.

2:17 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Huckleberry Road. Officer John Corridan responded and located the vehicle at a residence and reported a father stated his son has his learner’s permit and was learning how to drive.

3:08 p.m. A walk-in handed in a cell phone that he found in the State Park on Cedar Street. The owner was contacted for pickup.

4:36 p.m. A caller reported an animal, possibly a raccoon, was hit by a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and was lying on the ground. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and notified the animal control officer and the Highway Department.

6:03 p.m. A walk-in reported usage of his Venmo account by his son to purchase vaping marijuana. Officer Moira McGaffigan advised the parent to shut off access to the Venmo account.

6:42 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana removed an injured snake from the roadway of Wood Street.

 

June 20

1:32 a.m. A caller complained of two males walking on Hayden Rowe Street blasting music. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Brendon Lyver responded and checked the area with a negative find.

8:11 a.m. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officer Matthew Santoro responded to a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. An ambulance transported one person to the hospital. A report was to follow.

1:42 p.m. Officer John Corridan issued two parking citations on West Main Street.

4:22 p.m. A caller reported finding a wallet belonging to a Hopkinton resident at Shopper’s World in Framingham. The owner was contacted and arrangements were made for pickup.

5:24 p.m. A Kimball Road resident away on vacation reported seeing someone on her property via video, and then the camera disconnected. Officers Jay Deiana and Moira McGaffigan responded and checked the area and found all secure.

7:09 p.m. A caller reported that two hours earlier, while she was at Lake Maspenock on Wood Street, a male walked out of the woods pulling up his pants after defecating. She wanted the incident logged.

7:56 p.m. A Chestnut Street resident reported a suspicious male dressed all in black who walked up his driveway twice. Officers Jay Deiana and Moira McGaffigan responded and checked the area with a negative find.

10:57 p.m. An Oakhurst Road caller complained of someone setting off fireworks into her yard. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and found all quiet.

 

June 21

10:22 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle drove through the flashing yellow pedestrian light on Main Street. The caller followed the vehicle to the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot on West Main street. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and spoke with the operator.

1:43 p.m. An Edge Hill Road resident reported her son gave personal information to a scammer. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and a report was to follow.

5:53 p.m. The Plympton Police Department reported the unauthorized use of a vehicle by a Freedom Way resident. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Benjamin Stickney checked and located the vehicle and notified the Plympton Police Department.

6:04 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Benjamin Stickney responded to a motor vehicle accident involving air bag deployment after the vehicle hit a pole on Ash Street. A tow truck was requested. No injuries were reported. A report was to follow.

9:57 p.m. A caller complained of fireworks being set off on Fruit Street. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and found all quiet.

11:34 p.m. A Knoll Road resident reported returning home and finding fresh blood drops on her floor. No broken windows or anything out of the ordinary was found. Officers Benjamin Stickney and Brian Sanchioni responded and reported the blood drops were related to the family hamster that was found in the shower.

 

June 22

11:36 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley responded to a report of stolen property on West Main Street. A report was to follow.

2:31 p.m. A walk-in found a dog running in traffic on School Street and attempted to return it to its owner but nobody was home. Officer Benjamin Stickney assisted in returning the dog to the owner.

6:28 p.m. A walk-in handed in a found iPhone.

 

June 23

9:58 a.m. A caller complained of noise from motorbikes and fireworks behind Center School on Ash Street and requested extra checks of the area. The caller also stated trash has been left behind the school.

11:34 a.m. A caller reported she drove her car into Lake Whitehall. Officers Stephen Buckley and Benjamin Stickney responded along with the Environmental Police and found the vehicle submerged in 10 feet of water. A dive team and a tow truck were requested and the vehicle was subsequently pulled from the lake.

2:04 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on the Town Common.

3:05 p.m. A South Mill Street resident complained of cars parked on both sides of the street, creating a hazard. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and advised the owners to move their cars.

4:30 p.m. Officer John Corridan assisted the Ashland Police Department in responding to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on East Main Street.

7:26 p.m. A Fruit Street caller reported his tenant may have been setting off fireworks. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and spoke with the tenant, who denied using fireworks.

9:37 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted a disabled motor vehicle that ran out of gas on West Main Street. A courtesy transport was given to the gas station.

10:41 p.m. A walk-in handed in an iPhone found at the HPTA carnival.

11:37 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street resident complained of noise coming from carnival breakdown. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and reported the carnival workers would be shutting down for the night.

 

June 24

12:44 a.m. Multiple calls were received about a dog barking on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded but was unable to make contact with the owner. The dog stopped barking but was still outside.

9:23 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on a person in a vehicle in the Sandy Beach parking lot on Lakeshore Drive. All was OK.

2:07 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle parked illegally on Davis Road. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and the vehicle was gone upon his arrival.

8:32 p.m. A walk-in complained about a dog and a vehicle. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil assisted and reported the vehicle was to be removed the following day.

 

June 25

7:56 a.m. A caller reported being videotaped by a man while she was out running on Granite Street. The man was speeding up and down the street and followed her to her house. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and the vehicle was gone upon his arrival. He spoke with the reporting person and took a report.

9:13 a.m. A walk-in reported finding a pug on Maple Street. The owner called at the same time to report a missing dog. The owner subsequently went to the station to pick up the dog.

10:01 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro issued a parking violation on Freedom Way for parking in a handicap spot without a placard.

11:34 a.m. A caller reported losing his wallet and wanted the incident logged.

11:39 a.m. A Primrose Circle resident reported his vehicle’s windows were shattered. Officer John Corridan and Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and took a report of vandalism.

4:38 p.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Moira McGaffigan about property stolen from his business.

9:36 p.m. An Ash Street resident reported a suspicious person on his property earlier in the night and wanted the incident logged.

 

June 26

8:38 a.m. A caller complained of construction vehicles taking up a lane of traffic on Spring Street and causing an obstruction. Officer John Corridan responded and reported crews were unloading modular homes and would move as soon as they finish unloading.

12:25 p.m. A Wedgewood Drive resident out walking a dog was approached by a young male alleging he was hired to clean a yard before an open house. The caller denied the hiring of the landscaper. Officer John Corridan responded and spoke with the man, who was at the wrong address.

2:28 p.m. A motorist on Interstate 495 reported he was behind a driver with whom he was involved in a road rage incident on West Main Street prior to getting on the highway. The caller stated he beeped at the other driver at a green light, and that driver exited his car and proceeded to punch the caller’s truck, then got back into his vehicle and drove onto the highway. The State Police were notified.

3:47 p.m. The Upton Police Department requested assistance with an erratic operator on West Main Street. Officers Jay Deiana and Derek Morton responded and caught up with the vehicle, and the operator checked out OK.

6:34 p.m. A caller reported a doe on Pheasant Hill Road with a possible broken leg. Officer Jay Deiana responded and reported the animal moved further into the woods. The animal control officer was notified.

8:09 p.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Jay Deiana about a case of fraud. A report was to follow.

 

June 27

10:03 a.m. A Davenport Lane caller reported two dogs wandering loose in the neighborhood. She had them in her garage. The animal control officer was contacted.

10:45 a.m. A Walcott Valley resident reported it appears that someone attempted to pry the back slider door open at his house. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and viewed the visible pry marks. No entry was gained. A report was to follow.

1:00 p.m. Officer Matthew Santoro was flagged down by a motorist on Hayden Rowe Street who reported another motorist threw a rock at her vehicle. Officer Santoro and Sergeant Arthur Schofield took a report.

2:16 p.m. A walk-in reported attempted fraud on an elderly woman’s property. No personal information was shared. The caller wanted others to be aware of this new real estate scam. The information was passed on to detectives.

11:13 p.m. A Teresa Road caller complained of noise at a neighbor’s house. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Brian Sanchioni and Brendon Lyver responded and requested the assistance of the Holliston Police Department after youths were found running away into the woods. Complaint applications were issued for furnishing alcohol to persons under 21 and keeping a disorderly house.

11:16 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted with K-9 deployment to search for two individuals in the woods on Teresa Road. The individuals were found. Additionally, a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Teresa Road. A report was to follow.

 

June 28

10:22 a.m. An Eastview Road resident complained of a tree crew on her property cutting down trees and requested to speak with an officer. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and advised the reporting person to contact the DPW.

12:10 p.m. A Chamberlain Street resident complained of his neighbor’s dog chasing his chickens in his yard. A message was left for the animal control officer.

1:04 p.m. A caller reported there were vehicles parked in the trailer parking spots on Lakeshore Drive by Sandy Beach. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and spoke with the parking lot attendant, who was advised to properly monitor the parking lot.

3:52 p.m. A walk-in reported a stolen bike. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted.

7:24 p.m. Multiple calls were received about a vehicle on fire in a Main Street parking lot. Officers Benjamin Stickney, Brian Sanchioni and Jay Deiana responded along with the Fire Department. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle was towed. No injuries were reported.

9:36 p.m. A Clinton Street caller complained of music blaring from speakers in the area. Officers Jay Deiana and Brian Sanchioni responded and found the music coming from the Faith Community Church on East Main Street. The staff was advised to turn down the volume.

 

June 29

9:37 a.m. A runner on Greystone Lane reported two boxers followed her home. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and assisted the animal control officer in locating the owner.

11:27 a.m. A State Park employee dropped off two unclaimed licenses that he found at the State Park. The owners were contacted.

1:19 p.m. An Amherst Road caller reported a vehicle had been parked in front of his house since the prior day. The license plate came back to a neighbor on Lakeshore Drive.

9:30 p.m. A Knoll Road resident complained of a loud party in the neighborhood. Officers Philip Powers and John Corridan responded and advised the homeowner to turn down the music.

 

June 30

10:35 a.m. A caller reported a man exposing himself near the restrooms in the State Park on Cedar Street. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and notified the Ashland Police Department. The individual was gone upon his arrival.

2:12 p.m. A Clinton Street caller reported an oven fire. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded along with the Fire Department, and the fire was extinguished.

7:23 p.m. An East Main Street caller reported threats of eviction from the building manager. Officers Ryan Polselli and Moira McGaffigan responded and a report was to follow.

8:23 p.m. A caller reported an electrical fire and explosion on Front Street after a tree branch fell on primary wires and blew a fuse. Officers Philip Powers and Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department, and Eversource was contacted. No hazard was present.

 

July 1

11:25 a.m. A Proctor Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the neighborhood. Officers John Corridan and Moira McGaffigan responded and checked the area with a negative find.

11:38 a.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Philip Powers about a case of identity theft. A report was to follow.

12:07 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on Cedar Street.

1:43 p.m. A Clinton Street resident reported she believes someone broke into her home. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officers John Corridan and Philip Powers investigated and took a report.

2:19 p.m. A caller reported a case of identity theft. Officer Moira McGaffigan took a report of fraud.

11:21 p.m. A Frankland Road caller complained of a loud party next door. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Brendon Lyver responded and advised the homeowner to quiet down the music.

 

July 2

7:02 a.m. A Sanctuary Lane resident complained of a moped speeding up and down the road all morning. Officer John Corrridan responded and checked the area with a negative find.

11:24 a.m. A walk-in spoke with Sergeant Joseph Bennett about a traffic complaint.

1:10 p.m. A Saddle Hill Road caller reported his wallet was stolen from his car. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and took a report.

8:37 p.m. A caller reported “gangster” music being played by basketball players at the courts in front of the middle school on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and advised the players to turn down the volume.

9:29 p.m. A caller reported finding a large hunting knife in the roadway of Ash Street. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and recovered the knife.

10:02 p.m. A caller reported witnessing an intoxicated person drive onto Constitution Court and throw an empty bottle against the building. Officers Preston Mucciarone and Brian Sanchioni responded and knocked on a door, but no one answered.

 

July 3

1:09 a.m. A Davis Road walk-in complained of noise in the neighborhood. Officer Brendon Lyver checked Davis Road and found all quiet.

10:40 a.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet found on West Main Street.

3:24 p.m. A concerned walk-in requested an officer follow her back home. Officer Benjamin Stickney followed her home and made sure all was secure.

4:38 p.m. Officer Derek Morton responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. No injuries were reported. A report was to follow.

10:40 p.m. A Davis Road caller reported she could hear her neighbor making noise through the walls again. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and did not hear any noise.

 

July 4

12:14 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on a motor vehicle parked on Rafferty Road and located the owner down by the water. He was advised to move along.

7:56 a.m. An East Street caller reported someone was trespassing on property, as a small fire was started the night before down by the bathhouse. Officer Philip Powers responded and reported it appeared a small fire was started from a discarded cigarette.

10:37 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana issued four parking citations on Lakeshore Drive.

2:31 p.m. A detail officer requested extra assistance with a hostile couple on Cedar Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Philip Powers responded, and all was OK.

2:44 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney issued parking citations on Legacy Farms North.

6:29 p.m. A caller reported a possibly intoxicated male driving a vehicle on West Main Street. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officers Derek Morton and Benjamin Stickney responded and checked the area with a negative find.

 

July 5

6:39 a.m. The Upton Police Department reported dead animals at the town line. The DPW was notified.

9:58 a.m. A Front Street caller reported an ongoing barking dog complaint and requested to speak with the animal control officer. A message was left for him.

12:02 p.m. A caller reported he was assaulted by a person at the State Park. The location was determined to be in Ashland, and the Ashland Police Department was notified.

2:31 p.m. A Baldwin Lane resident reported opening a package that was shipped to her and finding the contents had been removed. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and took a report.

7:09 p.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone issued two parking citations on Lakeshore Drive.

 

July 6

10:45 a.m. A walk-in reported a case of identity theft. Officer Benjamin Stickney took a report.

12:20 p.m. A walk-in reported losing his keys on the Town Common during the Horribles Parade and wanted the incident logged.

12:55 p.m. A Connelly Hill Road resident reported finding an empty chocolate milk bottle in her mailbox and wanted the incident logged.

2:15 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney checked on two males sitting on the side of the roadway of Wood Street. All was OK, they were working down the street and were relaxing in a shady spot.

7:29 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded along with the Fire Department to a Meadowland Drive house that was struck by lightning and lost power. The wiring inspector and Eversource were contacted.

 

July 7

1:31 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard checked on a person sleeping inside a vehicle parked on South Street. All was OK.

2:17 a.m. A Sweetwater Way resident complained of a neighbor’s car alarm going off. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Ryan Polselli responded and reported all was OK and the alarm was accidental.

12:33 p.m. An Old Farm Road walk-in reported her mailbox was vandalized. Officer Ryan Polselli took a report.

7:18 p.m. Multiple callers reported a motorcycle speeding up and down West Elm Street. No license plate or description was given. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find.

8:44 p.m. A motorist reported a pedestrian dangerously on the side of the road of Interstate 495. The State Police were notified.

10:28 p.m. A Mount Auburn Street resident reported a sinkhole in his driveway near the sewer line. Officer Derek Morton responded and contacted the Water Department.

 

July 8

10:07 a.m. A caller reported an erratic operator driving all over the roadway. Officers Philip Powers and Matthew Santoro caught up with the vehicle on Mayhew Street, in the Senior Center parking lot, and advised the operator of the complaint.

4:08 p.m. A caller reported a road hazard on Erika Drive where a paving company was taking up a lane of travel with no detail officer present. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and advised the workers to move.

7:51 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street resident reported someone speeding around on a motorcycle or a four-wheeler behind his house. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find.
