ARRESTS

July 9
5:02 p.m. Officers conducted an arrest on West Main Street and detained a 37-year-old woman from Beacon Street in Worcester on a warrant out of Worcester District Court. A vehicle was towed from the scene.

July 10
4:17 p.m. Officers conducted a stop on East Main Street and detained a 73-year-old resident of Franklin Street in Framingham on a number of charges including speeding in violation of special regulations, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, failure to stop for police and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

July 12
2:07 p.m. Units responded to a call from a store employee regarding a larceny in progress. Officer Benjamin Vaz drove around the premises and found nothing out of the ordinary before two men were stopped and taken into custody. Hopkinton Police charged two men, ages 20 and 27, from New York with larceny over $1,200 and attaching wrong plates to their vehicle to conceal their identity.

July 8
9:02 a.m. A caller reported a tree on Winter Street was on wires and hanging over the roadway. They flagged down Officer Noah Buentello, who was responding to the area to check on the hazard.
9:47 a.m. A walk-in requested to speak with someone regarding illegal dumping at St. John the Evangelist Church. Officer Noah Buentello responded.
11:09 a.m. An anonymous caller reported that a neighbor’s cat on Davis Road attacked a resident recently, and it was supposed to be quarantined. She stated the cat was out walking in the neighborhood. The animal control officer was advised and responded.
12:24 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello identified that a green light was out on East Main Street heading south. A voicemail was left for the DPW.
3:12 p.m. A Winter Street caller reported a tree was blocking her driveway. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted.
4:52 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker conducted a motor vehicle check on a car half off the roadway on West Main Street. He spoke with the driver, who was to be on her way.
5:45 p.m. Officers responded to Ash Street after a caller reported two males trying to dump tires. The reporting party noted they spoke with the men, who put the tires back into their vehicle. Officers checked the area with a negative find.
6:12 p.m. A walk-in requested assistance with forwarding a text message to an officer in Hawaii regarding his daughter.
6:59 p.m. Units attempted to serve a warrant on Hayden Rowe Street but were unable to make contact with the party.
7:02 p.m. A caller stated that pedestrians crossed in front of him on Cross Street. He stopped, and a male party punched the mirror off his car. Officers responded and detained one individual. Summons were served, and the party was released.
8:08 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz took an incident report from a walk-in reporting a hit and run on East Main Street.
9:12 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin conducted a motor vehicle check on Hayden Rowe Street. A male party stated he had a bad day at work and would be leaving shortly.
11:44 p.m. Dispatchers received a call about a bat inside a house on Forest Lane. The caller was advised to call pest control. The bat was removed.

July 9
12:48 a.m. Officers responded to Pike Street following calls about three youths playing ding dong ditch in the area. The parties were gone upon arrival.
10:17 a.m. A walk-in wanted to make a report of wire transfer theft. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. spoke with her, and a report was to follow.
10:52 a.m. A caller reported a female rang her doorbell at 5:50 a.m. asking if she could leave her e-bike at the caller’s Cedar Street residence. The home’s security camera captured footage of a car picking up the female. Officer Noah Buentello responded and spoke with the reporting party. He also spoke to the e-bike owner.
12:58 p.m. A party reported e-bikes traveled directly toward traffic on East Main Street before turning around in front of oncoming traffic. Officer Noah Buentello responded and checked Legacy Farms but did not locate the e-bike riders.
7:03 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on School Street. The area was checked, and Massachusetts State Police advised the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
7:59 p.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded to a report of a tree down in the roadway on Lumber Street. The tree was removed.
10:15 p.m. A vehicle was seen on camera unloading items in the back corner of a Hayden Rowe Street property. Units checked the property and found all was locked and secured.

July 10
9:54 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield took a report from a Clinton Street caller who stated his mailbox was vandalized the day before.
10:21 a.m. A caller reported a past hit and run on Hayden Rowe Street involving a black Audi. Officer Aline Matos responded, spoke with the reporting party and noted the struck vehicle was gone on arrival. She was awaiting a possible call from the owner of the struck vehicle before she could proceed with charges.
11:11 a.m. A Main Street business owner reported an ongoing parking complaint. Officer Aline Matos spoke with the party and gave advice.
1:08 p.m. A Hayden Rowe Street caller reported an ongoing parking complaint that was heightened due to a large funeral service. Officer Aline Matos was able to handle the traffic situation during her funeral escort. The complaint was logged.
5:17 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with a report of a grill fire on Hayden Rowe Street.

July 11
1:57 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti was out with a disabled vehicle on South Street and gave the operator a courtesy transport to Alltown Fresh. He returned to South Street to attempt to get the vehicle started while the operator obtained fuel and later returned. Unable to get the vehicle started, the driver had additional help en route.
7:38 a.m. A caller reported vehicles in line to enter Hopkinton State Park were taking up a lane of travel. DCR cleared up the traffic.
1:49 p.m. Officer Aline Matos responded to Hayward Street after a caller reported vehicles were blocking the roadway. She determined the vehicles were not blocking the road.
9:18 p.m. Units spoke with a homeowner on Walker Street after a caller reported loud music. The homeowner was to turn the music down.
11:53 p.m. Milford Police received a report of an erratic operator heading toward Hopkinton. A caller reported that the vehicle was tailgating them, brake checking and speeding through red lights and stop signs. Officer Jennifer Manning responded to South Street, but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

July 12
1:11 a.m. Officer Brian Ziniti checked on a vehicle on Legacy Farms South. The party was OK and was to move along shortly.
8:06 a.m. Officer Matthew LaTour came across a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street. The vehicle was moved to a gas station lot.
8:50 a.m. A caller reported a possible crash overnight into a stone wall on Colonnade Drive. A license plate was left behind. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and took an incident report.
11:18 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. responded to Curtis Road after a caller reported a potential bylaw violation by a lawn service business. He spoke with workers on the scene, and they were to be done for the day.
2:16 p.m. Sgt. William Burchard responded to a two-car crash on West Main Street with no injuries and took a report.
3:52 p.m. A caller reported a trailer was parked on the side of the road on Walcott Street for two weeks. Officer Benjamin Vaz advised the owner to move the trailer or it would be towed.
4:46 p.m. Officers responded to Chestnut Street after an anonymous caller reported music that was so loud he could not sit outside. The party playing the music was advised to turn it down.
5:32 p.m. A caller reported a car meetup at a parking lot on South Street. Units responded, and all vehicles had left the area.
8:47 p.m. Officers responded to Lakeshore Drive regarding a report of an 11-year-old boy in the water alone. The child was with his father. All was OK.

July 13
6:19 a.m. Officers responded to North Street after a caller reported a minor car crash and requested an officer on scene.
7:35 a.m. Officer Aline Matos took a report of illegal dumping on Constitution Court.
7:52 a.m. Units responded to West Main Street for a report of a disabled 10-wheeler. A towing company was called, and officers directed traffic up Ramp 7.
8:48 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. responded to West Main Street after a vehicle hit the disabled 10-wheeler. He took a crash report.
11:45 a.m. A caller reported a rollover on Overlook Road, and they were assisting occupants out of the vehicle. Units responded along with an engine from Southborough. Crews evaluated six patients, and a tow truck was on scene.
4:19 p.m. An East Main Street caller reported someone hit her gate.

July 14
12:36 a.m. Officer Eva Cann conducted a check on a vehicle in a Hayden Rowe Street parking lot and attempted to speak with the driver, but they left.
8:58 a.m. Officers responded to a report of an injured rabbit in an area of mulch on Wood Street. They were unable to locate the animal.
4:10 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on a disabled motor vehicle on Fruit Street. A tow was on the way.
5:53 p.m. Officer Nicholas Walker came across a vehicle blocking the roadway on Main Street. The driver was to be on their way.
6:24 p.m. A Davis Street caller reported an aggressive cat whose owner was being confrontational. The parties were advised to stay away from each other when out walking their pets.
8:15 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon conducted a motor vehicle check on South Street. The driver had pulled over to make a phone call and was all set.
8:24 p.m. Units responded to West Main Street to check on a person at a closed business.
10:05 p.m. A caller on Main Street requested an officer check something moving in the shopping bag on the front seat of her car. Nothing strange was found in the vehicle.
