5:22 a.m. On South Street, Officer Brendon Lyver arrested Esteban Castillo Jr., 35, of 17 Bowdoin Drive, Milford, on a warrant.

7:36 a.m. A Constitution Court caller reported a suspicious man asked her how to enter the building about 30 minutes earlier. The man was gone, but the caller wanted the incident logged.

7:54 a.m. A Hidden Brick Road resident reported her daughter’s identity had been stolen. The incident already had been reported to the Shrewsbury Police Department, as she resides in Shrewsbury, but the caller wanted Hopkinton to be aware.

2:47 p.m. A caller complained of a truck pumping water from a pond on Legacy Farms North. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded.

4:53 p.m.  A walk-in spoke with Officer Robert Ekross regarding a complaint about a neighbor. A report was to follow.

8:34 p.m. A Grandview Drive resident spoke with Officer Robert Ekross about a case of identity theft. A report was to follow.

 

September 11

1:56 a.m. Officer Ryan Polselli and Sergeant William Burchard spoke with a person on Main Street who was out looking for his daughter. A report was to follow.

3:31 a.m. The Ashland Police Department requested assistance in setting a perimeter after an active breaking and entering on West Union Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and assisted.

8:41 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan found a dead raccoon on Pleasant Street and notified the DPW.

3:48 p.m. A caller reported a mulch fire on West Main Street. Officers Preston Mucciarone and Robert Ekross responded along with the Fire Department, and the fire was extinguished.

5:02 p.m. A walk-in handed in a cell phone found on Robbern Road.

8:26 p.m.  A caller reported his vehicle was locked inside the State Park on Cedar Street. Officer Derek Morton responded and unlocked the gate.

 

September 12

4:17 a.m. Officer Brendon Lyver issued a parking ticket on Woodview Way.

2:13 p.m. A walk-in reported losing a green and white wallet containing cash and credit cards on West Main Street. The information was logged.

2:37 p.m. A Bowker Road caller reported a case of malware fraud. The caller was to go to the station to speak with an officer.

6:07 p.m. A Tammer Lane resident spoke with Officer Robert Ekross about a case of fraud. A report was to follow.

8:32 p.m. A caller requested officer assistance in retrieving personal property at a Highcroft Way residence. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Robert Ekross assisted.

 

September 13

11:31 a.m. A caller complained of a vehicle parked in front of a fire hydrant on Church Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and advised the owner to move the car.

12:33 p.m. A Nicholas Road caller reported a landscape company dumped materials on his property. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and spoke with both involved parties.

1:21 p.m. A caller reported a fight in progress between children on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Matthew Santoro and Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded. A report was to follow.

3:45 p.m. A school bus driver reported youths on scooters weaving in and out of cars in the bus loop parking area on Hayden Rowe Street. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded. The youths were gone upon his arrival.

 

September 14

12:50 p.m. A Teresa Road caller reported an animal in her chimney. The animal control officer was contacted.

2:31 p.m. A Highcroft Way caller reported a person making threats over the phone. Officer Jay Deiana responded and assisted.

2:51 p.m. A caller reported a person on West Main Street who appeared to be under the influence. Officers Benjamin Stickney and Ryan Polselli responded and checked on the person. A report was to follow.

5:37 p.m. A Nicholas Road resident reported arriving home and finding his house locked in a way he did not recognize. Officers Jay Deiana and Ryan Polselli responded and checked the home and found all clear.

7:18 p.m. A motorist reported an erratic operator on South Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and reported the vehicle was on Interstate 495. The State Police were notified.

 

September 15

12:25 a.m. A Fawn Ridge Road caller reported suspicious activity from a person driving a white cargo van in the area. Officer Brendon Lyver and Robert Ekross responded and checked the area with a negative find.

12:38 a.m. Officer Ryan Polselli checked on a possible spin-out between Ramps 2 and 3 on West Main Street. Minor damage was incurred and the operator was able to drive home.

8:52 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle flashing its high beams in Pinecrest Village. Officer John Corridan responded and checked the area with a negative find.

10:29 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on West Main Street. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and located the operator and the vehicle, which was being towed.

 

September 16

12:27 a.m. A walk-in requested a ride to Milford. Sergeant William Burchard provided the person with a courtesy transport.

11:54 a.m. A caller reported a landscaping company illegally dumping trash on Main Street. Officer Moira McGaffigan spoke with the owner of the company. A report was to follow.

12:45 p.m. Officer Preston Mucciarone reported the school principal found a vape pen on Elm Street.

2:23 p.m. A detail officer reported a sinkhole forming on Cedar Street. The DPW was notified.

4:17 p.m. A Spring Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Arthur Schofield responded and found an Amazon delivery truck. All was OK.

10:27 p.m. A Woodview Way resident reported a vehicle was parked in her parking spot. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and was unable to make contact with the owner of the vehicle.

11:45 p.m. A property manager on Woodview Way reported a vehicle was illegally parked in a parking spot. Officers William Burchard and Robert Ekross responded and advised the owner to move the vehicle.

 

September 17

9:37 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan checked on a vehicle parked in a back Main Street parking lot. The operator was just adding coolant in the vehicle. All was OK.

7:35 p.m. A caller complained of a large construction dumpster on John Matthew Road that was not well marked. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and reported the dumpster was in the roadway and the contractor needed to add cones.

9:15 p.m. Officer Derek Morton provided a courtesy transport to a person on Main Street.

 

September 18

10:11 a.m. A Clinton Street caller reported a snake in her basement. The animal control officer was contacted.

2:20 p.m. A caller reported he saw from his security camera a male walking through his yard. Officers Preston Mucciarone and Matthew Santoro responded and checked the area with a negative find.

6:33 p.m. A walk-in from Tammer Lane reported being bitten by a dog earlier in the day. Officer Brian Sanchioni took a report and notified the animal control officer.

11:18 p.m. A caller reported two unoccupied black SUVs parked on the side of the roadway of Legacy Farms North. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Brendon Lyver responded and advised the owners to be on their way.

 

September 19

9:17 a.m. Officers Ryan Polselli and Jay Deiana responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.

10:15 a.m. A West Main Street resident complained of a vehicle with a loud banging engine noise that passes her house every day. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and was unable to locate the vehicle. The caller was advised to chart the time it passes daily.

1:01 p.m. A caller reported smoldering mulch on Fruit Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded along with the Fire Department. The fire was extinguished.

3:28 p.m. A caller reported a person smoking marijuana while driving a vehicle on Spring Street. Officer Derek Morton responded. The vehicle was gone upon his arrival.

4:09 p.m. A walk-in reported money was stolen out of her bank account via an ATM. Officer Benjamin Stickney took a report.

5:56 p.m. A caller reported children playing on the entrance gate on Lakeshore Road at Sandy Beach. Officer Derek Morton responded and checked the area with a negative find.

6:13 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street.

 

September 20

1:03 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on several people on Main Street, who were dropped off at the wrong location by an Uber driver.

3:35 a.m. A walk-in asked for directions home. Sergeant Arthur Schofield assisted and called an Uber and notified the family. A report was to follow.

5:19 a.m. A Davenport Lane resident complained of a barking dog in the neighborhood. Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded and spoke with the dog’s owner.

7:23 a.m. A caller complained of several hundred bicyclists riding through town. Officers Matthew Santoro, Ryan Polselli and Tyler Brabham responded and reported the riders were with an organization, and the officers assisted them into Milford.

9:39 a.m. A Washington Lane caller reported a car was parked in front of his house for five days. Officers Matthew Santoro and Tyler Brabham responded and reported it might be a rental car, and the officers were to check in with the homeowner later.

12:16 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a house. No injuries were reported. Officers Matthew Santoro and Tyler Brabham responded, and a report was to follow.

2:30 p.m. A Holt Street resident spoke with Officer Ryan Polselli about a traffic complaint. A report was to follow.

3:42 p.m. A Spring Street caller who witnessed vehicles speeding by a stopped school bus where children were exiting requested an officer during school bus transportation hours. Officer Derek Morton assisted.

7:19 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney checked on four males at an Aspen Way construction site. They were finishing up for the day.

 

September 21

8:26 a.m. A caller reported a fallen tree limb on wires on Grove Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and notified Eversource.

9:25 a.m. A caller reported an attempted social security scam and wanted the incident logged.

11:56 a.m. A Thayer Heights Road caller reported the odor of natural gas coming from the dryer. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department. Zero readings were found throughout the house. The owner was to arrange for the dryer to be serviced.

2:34 p.m. A walk-in handed in a found wallet.

7:31 p.m. A Wood Street caller reported fireworks being set off in the area. Officers John Corridan and Jay Deiana responded and checked the area with a negative find.

 

September 22

5:48 a.m. An East Main Street caller reported an argument occurring at a neighbor’s house. Officer Robert Ekross responded and checked the area and found walkers in the area for the Jimmy Fund Walk but nothing out of the ordinary.

8:36 a.m. A caller reported two people walking four dogs off leash on Wood Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and checked the area with a negative find.

9:59 a.m. A walk-in handed in a found debit card.

1:14 p.m. A walk-in reported possible graffiti on her walkway. Officer Benjamin Stickney looked at the markings and stated that they appeared to be the product of landscaping equipment.

5:18 p.m. A caller reported two youths on a white boat with red trim harassing swans on Lake Masepenock. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded to Sandy Beach at Lakeshore Drive and the boat was gone upon his arrival.

7:10 p.m. A caller reported an unattended motorcycle between 7 and 9 Donna Pass that had been there for over four hours. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and read a note on the motorcycle stating it could not be ridden until the following day, when the owner was to have the part to fix it.

8:32 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported a vehicle parked between two handicap spots. Officer John Corridan responded and spoke with the boyfriend of the owner of the vehicle, and she was to move it.

 

September 23

9:42 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle was tailgating him and following him around the high school parking lot on Hayden Rowe Street. School Resource Officer Philip Powers and Officers John Corridan, Matthew Santoro and Moira McGaffigan responded and were unable to locate the vehicle but did obtain a license plate number and a positive ID of the operator. Officer Powers was to be speaking to the operator.

11:17 a.m. A walk-in reported finding several suspicious bones in her yard. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and believed they were of animal origin and would be consulting with other sources.

11:44 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan discovered a traffic light out on Main Street and notified the DPW.

11:58 a.m. A Teresa Road caller reported finding evidence possibly of a bear on her property. The animal control officer was contacted.

7:16 p.m. A Keeby Road caller reported losing his black and white Siberian husky and wanted the incident logged.

8:13 p.m. A Walcott Valley Drive resident requested to speak with an officer about an incident that occurred at the middle school. Officer Derek Morton spoke with the caller and a report was to follow.
