Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
Capping a postseason filled with dramatic finishes, the Hopkinton High School boys soccer team had one more thriller Saturday night in the Division 2 state championship game. Unfortunately for the Hillers, this result did not go their way, as top-seeded Oliver Ames scored twice in the final three minutes to grab a 3-2 victory and the championship trophy.
Budget presentations from building and administrative leaders were on the School Committee meeting agenda on Thursday.
As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, the eastbound detour from Pleasant Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street will be in place Monday through Wednesday. The eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple Street to Hayden Rowe Street and back to Main Street also will be used Monday through Wednesday.
Town meetings tonight include the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board (6) and the Planning Board (7).
