Jeremy Farrell

Jeremy Michael Farrell, 42, of Hopkinton, passed away Nov. 11 at his home following a valiant battle with drug addiction and mental illness. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Cynthia (White) Farrell of Hopkinton and Michael Farrell and his wife, Diana, of Marlborough, and his aunt, Carol “Cookie” White, who helped raise him.

A 1995 graduate of Keefe Tech in Framingham, Jeremy went on to work in the construction business. He enjoyed fishing and loved his friends and family fiercely.

Besides his parents, Jeremy is survived by five siblings, Lauren Hurley and her husband, Chris, of Hopkinton, Tiffany Farrell and her fiance, Chris Gazard, of Ashland, Jonathan Farrell and his wife, Laurelle, of Marlborough, Sean Farrell and his wife, Carrie, of Boylston, and Meghan Amaral and her husband, Mike, of Hudson, New Hampshire. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Marge Farrell of Marlborough, and David and Sharon White of Cambridge, as well as his nieces, Abigail Farrell, Rebecca Hurley and Hailey Farrell.

A funeral service was held Nov. 16 at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton (ChesmoreFuneralHome.com). Burial followed in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeremy’s name may be made to Herren Project-Jeremy’s Legacy (theherrenproject.networkforgood.com/projects/85419-jeremy-s-legacy).
