February 9
10:22 p.m. On Fruit Street, Officers Benjamin Stickney and Derek Morton arrested James R. Murphy, 48, of 169 Fruit St. on a probation warrant violation.

February 8
10:17 a.m. Officer Philip Powers reported finding a social security card on Main Street and subsequently contacted the Westborough Police Department, which was to attempt to contact the owner.
1:08 p.m. A Spring Street caller complained that his neighbor had been shooting guns in his yard for an hour. Officers Arthur Schofield and John Corridan responded and explained that there is no noise restriction during this time of the day. The officers also checked on the neighbor, and all was fine.
3:02 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle was parked illegally on Main Street and was creating a hazard. Officer Derek Morton responded and issued a parking violation citation.
4:56 p.m. A caller reported that while pumping gas at a West Main Street station, three people approached her and stated they didn’t know how to pump gas. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and a report was to follow.
5:16 p.m. A caller reported a person passed out in a vehicle in the middle of the roadway on Spring Street. Officers Derek Morton and Moira McGaffigan responded, and in the meantime, the driver woke up and refused to remain on scene, according to the caller.
8:32 p.m. A caller reported a tow truck was attempting to tow three cars parked in Hopkinton Drug’s lot on Main Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Derek Morton, Jay Deiana and Moira McGaffigan responded and reported all vehicles were removed. A report was to follow.

February 9
12:41 a.m. On West Main Street, Officer Brendon Lyver picked up a car bumper from the roadway.
2:43 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity by two or three adults, possibly shoplifters, in a West Main Street store. The manager was notified and the parties were escorted out without incident. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and the manager had nothing further to report at the time.
7:11 p.m. A walk-in wanting to retrieve his son’s cell phone spoke with Sergeant Timothy Brennan.
8:11 p.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan assisted the driver of a disabled motor vehicle that ran out of gas on East Main Street.

February 10
12:46 a.m. The Ashland Police Department requested K-9 assistance for a person search on Birch Hill Road in Ashland. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and assisted.
8:07 a.m. A Lumber Street caller complained of construction taking place at a neighbor’s on a Sunday, in violation of town bylaw. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and spoke to the neighbor, who was just changing a tire on one of the trucks.
10:53 a.m. A detail officer reported a motor vehicle accident involving injuries on East Main Street. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officers Stephen Buckley and Matthew Santoro responded. A report was to follow.
3:48 p.m. A caller reported a woman walking down West Main Street with a child, who had a bag over her head. Officer Derek Morton responded and checked the area with a negative find.
4:44 p.m. A Pine Island Road caller requested assistance with a dispute involving his neighbor and the neighbor’s car, which was parked on his property. Officer Derek Morton responded and spoke with the reporting person.

February 11
1:16 p.m. A Cedar Street Extension resident reported seeing a suspicious male on her property the day before and wanted the incident logged. She was advised to call back if she saw the man again.
4:21 p.m. A concerned Lakeshore Drive caller reported four children skating on Lake Maspenock. Officer John Corridan responded and checked the lake with a negative find.
4:48 p.m. A caller reported finding graffiti all over the skate park and couches and other trash in the dumpster in EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and viewed the vandalism and illegal dumping.
11:01 p.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil assisted the Westborough Police Department, which brought in an individual to be placed in protective custody.

February 12
9:06 a.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about damage on his property’s parking lot caused by a Verizon truck. He was advised to contact Verizon.
9:24 a.m. A Revolutionary Way caller reported a vehicle was parked in the striped area next to the handicap parking spot, which would prevent a wheelchair from entering and exiting a vehicle if needed. Officer Brendon Lyver responded and issued a parking ticket for a handicap parking violation.
10:41 a.m. A caller reported she was scammed over the phone. Officer Brendon Lyver spoke with her about the fraud.
1:39 p.m. A passerby on Hayden Rowe Street reported a vehicle ran another vehicle off the road and then struck a rock. Officer Jay Deiana responded and reported the vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a rock but was not run off the road. The vehicle sustained a flat tire and minor front and damage. Officer Deiana assisted with replacing the tire.
2:03 p.m. A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle on East Main Street that was unable to make it up the hill due to the snowy road. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded, and the vehicle turned around and drove back toward Ashland.
2:52 p.m. Multiple calls were received about a vehicle stuck on a hill on North Street. Officers Benjamin Stickney and Moira McGaffigan responded, and the driver was able to free the vehicle from the snow.
4:50 p.m. A caller reported a snowplow truck accidentally pulled up a manhole cover on Main Street. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and contacted the DPW.
11:57 p.m. Multiple calls were received about a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 495 between ramps 21A and 21B with an unresponsive driver. Officers Brendon Lyver and Preston Mucciarone responded along with an ambulance. The patient was responsive upon the officers’ arrival and subsequently transported to the hospital.

February 13
7:38 a.m. A caller reported a car stuck in a snow bank on Ash Street. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and the car was removed. The DPW was on its way to sand the road.
4:58 p.m. A Jordan Road resident reported a sick raccoon near his house. The animal control officer responded and believed the animal was living under the porch, though it was not there at the time.
6:31 p.m. A Sanctuary Lane caller reported an anti-Semitic job posting in the Hopkinton area. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded, and a report was to follow.
9:35 p.m. Officer Derek Morton assisted the driver of a vehicle who hit a curb on Wood Street. The driver’s father was on his way to pick her up.
9:56 p.m. Multiple vehicles slid off East Main Street due to icy road conditions. Officer Derek Morton assisted in removing the vehicles, and the DPW was contacted to salt the area.
10:51 p.m. Officer Derek Morton provided a courtesy transport to a person involved in a motor vehicle accident on Turnbridge Lane.
11:02 p.m. Officer Brendon Lyver stood by with the driver of a motor vehicle on Cedar Street who was uncomfortable driving in the wintery conditions and instead was waiting for her husband to pick her up.

February 14
10:54 a.m. DCF requested to speak with an officer about a missing person. Officer Arthur Schofield assisted, and the individual was entered in to the NCIC. A report was to follow.
11:19 a.m. A caller reported hitting a garage door on Wood Street. Officer Arthur Schofield responded and took a report.
2:24 p.m. A Falcon Ridge Road caller reported a suspicious blue vehicle pulled out of her driveway. Thinking that maybe a package was just delivered, she checked both doors and found only footprints around the house and bulkhead. Officers Ryan Polselli and Arthur Schofield responded and checked the area with a negative find.

February 15
9:27 a.m. A caller reported a possibly injured deer walking on Pond Street. The animal control officer was notified.
10:46 a.m. A Washington Lane resident complained that two white vans were blocking the end of her driveway. Two men were moving packages between the vans. Officers Stephen Buckley and Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and found Amazon drivers moving around packages. Both trucks cleared the area.
1:44 p.m. A Lumber Street caller spoke with Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas about scam phone calls.
2:16 p.m. A Westcott Drive resident reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway. Officers Panagiotis Hontzeas and Stephen Buckley responded and found neighbors were having work done on their house, and their workers had parked in the caller’s driveway.
6:29 p.m. A Rough Rider Road resident complained of cars double parked on the corner. Officers Derek Morton and Benjamin Stickney responded and advised the owners to move the vehicles.
7:45 p.m. A caller reported hearing an explosion on Clinton Street. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and found all quiet and checked the area with a negative find.
10:11 p.m. A motorist reported he hit a dog on East Main Street. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and contacted the owner and the animal control officer.

February 16
1:28 p.m. An Elm Street caller locked out of her house requested assistance. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and gained access to the house.
2:20 p.m. A caller reported a person standing on the side of the roadway of Wood Street wearing an overcoat and a President Trump mask and waving to people driving by. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and checked the area with a negative find.

February 17
1:11 a.m. Officer Corridan assisted a motorist who drove over a large pothole on West Main Street, which resulted in a flat tire. Officer Corridan placed cones around the pothole and notified the DPW.
10:58 a.m. A caller reported icy road conditions on Pond Street. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas checked the area and contacted the DPW for sanding.
4:29 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on School Street. The motorist incurred a flat tire after driving over a pothole. Officer Deiana placed cones around the area and contacted the DPW.
11:08 p.m. A caller reported a black pickup truck drove down the new walking path on Granite Street, up to the gate. Officers Stephen Buckley and Preston Mucciarone responded and spoke to the parties, who were to leave the property.
11:15 a.m. While working a detail on East Main Street, Officer Preston Mucciarone reported being nearly hit by a vehicle when he tried waving it down. A witness followed the suspect vehicle and subsequently provided the station with the license plate number. A report was to follow.
1:22 p.m. The DPW requested lights be put on flash mode on West Main Street. Officer Preston Mucciarone responded and assisted.

February 18
9:35 a.m. A caller reported a 78-year-old male fell in his Granite Street driveway. Officer Arthur Schofield responded and found that the man was not injured but just needed assistance getting up. Medical services were not needed.
12:35 p.m. A caller reported there had been a break-in at a building at a Hayden Rowe Street facility. One door was broken. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and reported nothing was missing. A message was left for Parks and Recreation to secure the door.
3:42 p.m. A Minuteman Lane resident reported she gave her personal information to someone over the phone. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded, and a report was to follow.
7:19 p.m. A caller reported someone stole items from his job site on College Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and took a report.
7:20 p.m. A School Street resident reported the odor of natural gas in the house. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department. Eversource was contacted.

February 19
4:31 p.m. A DiCarlo Road resident reported a suspicious package was delivered to her house. Officers Derek Morton and Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and revealed a children’s toy inside of the package.
6:37 p.m. Sergeant Joseph Bennett assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
10:14 p.m. A Ridge Road caller complained of his neighbor’s dogs barking for the past three hours. Officer Derek Morton responded and left a message with the homeowners.
11:08 p.m. A West Elm Street caller, who stated she was home alone and mobility impaired, reported her three dogs were barking wildly, and she requested an officer to check the area. Officers Brendon Lyver and Ryan Polselli checked the area and found nothing unusual.

February 20
9:39 a.m. A Main Street caller reported attempted phone fraud. Sergeant Joseph Bennett advised the caller on fraud prevention.
1:43 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about damage to her vehicle. Officer Matthew Santoro assisted.
2:14 p.m. A walk-in spoke with Officer Arthur Schofield about harassment by a co-worker.
2:23 p.m. A West Main Street caller reported the odor of natural gas outside. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department. Eversource was notified.
2:37 p.m. An employee of a Main Street business requested an officer to speak with a customer about a scam. Sergeant Scott van Raalten and Officer Matthew Santoro responded and investigated fraud. A report was to follow.
5:39 p.m. Multiple calls were received about a person changing a tire in the middle of the roadway of Cedar Street. Officer Derek Morton responded and stood by with lights while the person finished his repair.

February 21
12:20 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle slid off the roadway on West Elm Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and requested a tow truck. No injuries were reported.
8:00 a.m. A caller reported a truck attempted to run his wife off the highway on Interstate 495 and exited off Exit 20. The Milford Police Department was notified.
8:07 a.m. A motorist reported she was having difficulty controlling her vehicle on Main Street. Officers Matthew Santoro and Stephen Buckley responded and stood by while AAA was en route.
10:35 a.m. A Constitution Court resident reported a package containing an iPhone was stolen. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and took a report.
1:27 p.m. A caller reported a brown dog wandering on South Street. The animal control officer was notified.
2:40 p.m. A caller reported his vehicle was hit on West Main Street and the vehicle, which had four young males in it, sped off toward Upton. The Upton Police Department was notified. Officer Panagiotis Hontzeas responded and spoke with the reporting person.
5:43 p.m. A motorist reported a van in the middle of the roadway of Spring Street with nobody in it. Officers Derek Morton and Benjamin Stickney responded and assisted in moving the vehicle.
