Well 1 to shut off for maintenance next week

by | Mar 19, 2025 | News

One of Hopkinton’s wells will be shut off for cleaning next week, according to the Water-Sewer Department.

In a notice to residents, Water-Sewer manager Eric Carty stated that Well 1 is set to go offline next week for scheduled maintenance. Well 4 is being turned on this week to offset some of the production difference.

“Well 4 does contain moderate iron levels and you may notice a difference in water clarity with it on,” Carty noted.

For more information, visit the Water-Sewer Department’s website or call 508-497-9765.
