Letter to the Editor: Krishna for School Committee

by | Apr 28, 2026 | Letter to Editor

I am pleased to offer my endorsement of Sravana Krishna for School Committee.

Sravana brings a fresh and forward-looking perspective at a time when our schools must adapt to a rapidly changing world. With a master’s degree in computer science and nearly three decades of experience as a senior technology executive, he offers strong qualifications in strategic thinking, innovation and fiscal responsibility. His perspective is grounded not only in expertise but in a clear vision for preparing students for the future.

Equally important is his commitment to service. Sravan has already contributed meaningfully to Hopkinton through roles on the Zoning Advisory Committee, Design Review Board, Economic Development Advisory Board and the Friends of SEPAC [Special Education Parents Advisory Council] Board. His approach reflects a consistent focus on contributing first and leading through action.

Sravana is also a strong advocate for students and families. He believes in expanding opportunity, supporting diverse learning needs and ensuring that every student has a pathway to succeed. His ideas around innovative academic pathways and inclusive support systems reflect both ambition and practicality.

He brings the perspective of a parent, the discipline of a seasoned leader and the voice of someone committed to representation and community engagement. Hopkinton will benefit from his energy and insight.

I encourage residents to support Sravana in this election.

— Shahidul Mannan, Hopkinton
