I am writing to endorse Sandra Irwin for School Committee.

The first thing that comes to mind with Sandra is the focus and passion that she wants to bring to this position. She recognizes how fortunate we are to have an extremely strong school system, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t work to be done. Continuing to focus on students’ needs and inclusivity while also adding responsible and strategic planning for the future will ensure that the schools remain strong and the backbone of our town.

Sandra balances being a mother of three with her professional career as a global marketing strategist, something that can only be done with a strong work ethic and great organizational skill. I believe she will bring a perspective that is both fresh and grounded to the School Committee, and with her youngest not yet in the schools, she has a clear stake in and commitment to serving over the long term. Please join me in voting for Sandra for School Committee.
