Letter to the Editor: Ritterbusch has ‘endless energy’

by | Jun 26, 2020 | Letter to Editor

I have known John Coutinho for many years and it has always been a friendly relationship.  His recent conduct, in withdrawing from an issues debate and making unfounded accusations of various kinds, against his opponent and others, has been very disappointing. I know Amy very well and can say with certainty that she would never tolerate such activity.

Amy Ritterbusch is, as others have pointed out, one of the most qualified candidates ever to seek this position. In addition, she seems to have absolutely endless energy. She is currently a member of the Planning Board, chair of the Historic District Commission, chair of the Growth Study Committee and a member of the Design Review Board. She is co-founder and currently communications director for eHop (formerly Educate Hopkinton). At the same time she has a full-time job as software and web analyst for the Wellesley School System, a small business as a web designer, and she and her husband, Tim, have raised three children, including two recent HHS grads.

Mary and I strongly endorse Amy Ritterbusch for Select Board.

— Mary and Dick Duggan, Hopkinton

Letter to the Editor: Krishna for School Committee

On Monday, May 18th, I will be voting for Sravan Krishna for School Committee because his actions show me what he believes in. He is not just a talker; he’s a doer. He has a history of volunteer service to the town. He has stood up to racism and to anti-LGBTQ...
