ARRESTS

June 27
5:54 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator weaving in and out of traffic lanes at a high rate of speed on Main Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and caught up with the vehicle on Claflin Place. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Tyler Brabham responded as backup. A 28-year-old from Ayer was arrested and charged with OUI liquor. A tow truck removed the vehicle.

June 22
12:43 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on Lakeshore Drive property.
5:43 a.m. A Constitution Court caller reported her car was stolen. The caller was advised.
7:35 a.m. A caller reported a traffic truck needed assistance backing up on Forest Lane. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and assisted.
9:15 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil provided backup for the State Police on a motor vehicle stop on South Street.
9:20 a.m. Officer Ryan Polselli checked on a person speaking with a detail officer on Main Street. The person was involved in a minor accident and wanted the paper exchange logged.
9:36 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil reported finding firework debris in the Sandy Beach parking lot on Lakeshore Drive. The DPW was contacted for cleanup.
11:56 a.m. Officer Ryan Polselli responded to a motor vehicle accident involving no personal injuries on Main Street. Officer Polselli took a report.
1:31 p.m. A caller requested to speak with a sergeant regarding a prior incident. Sergeants Matthew McNeil and Timothy Brennan were notified.
1:42 p.m. A walk-in from Elm Street reported a BB may have hit her window. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and a report was to follow.
5:25 p.m. A caller reported a fallen tree limb across the roadway of Clinton Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and notified Eversource.
7:59 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana checked on Wilson Street property.
8:19 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana assisted the Milford Police Department in searching for a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:37 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on a vehicle on Lakeshore Drive and moved the parties along.
11:43 p.m. A Cedar Street caller reported a motor vehicle that he lent out had not been returned by the operator. It was supposed to have been returned at 10 p.m. The caller was not reporting the vehicle stolen but wanted the incident logged.

June 23
12:25 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Fruit Street property.
12:36 a.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil discovered fallen trees on wires on Lumber Street and notified Eversource.
1:23 a.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil checked on a vehicle parked on Clinton Street and moved the occupants along.
7:48 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officers Matthew Santoro and Jay Deiana responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street involving two cars. One car was smoking. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck was requested.
9:30 a.m. Sergeant Timothy Brennan spoke with a Main Street business about a recent incident.
10:35 a.m. A caller reported a tree was blocking the roadway of Spring Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Jay Deiana responded and notified the Highway Department.
11:16 a.m. Officer Matthew Santoro completed property checks on Wilson Street.
11:46 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Matthew Santoro responded to a motor vehicle accident on Heartwood Way, where a car crashed in to a garage. The building inspector was contacted. No personal injuries were reported.
1:15 p.m. The UMass police requested information. Officer Matthew Santoro assisted.
3:09 p.m. A caller reported a fallen limb on College Street. Officer Jay Deiana responded and moved it to the side of the road and left a message for the DPW.
10:29 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle with high beams pointing directly at his house. Officer Jay Deiana responded and found someone who pulled over to make a phone call. All was OK.

June 24
12:42 a.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Fruit Street property.
8:41 a.m. Officers Moira McGaffigan and Jay Deiana completed community relations on Elm Street.
11:02 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
4:23 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
4:31 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager assisted two motorists involved in a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street with paper exchange. No injuries were reported.
6:09 p.m. A caller complained of several vehicles without tags parked in handicap spots on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and reported four handicap spots were open.
6:34 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded along with the Fire Department to a mulch fire on West Main Street. The fire was extinguished.
8:26 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager checked on the Fruit Street fields.
9:42 p.m. Officer Kevin Sager checked Reed Park on Parker Point Road.
9:56 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a deer on West Main Street. Officer Kevin Sager responded and reported no personal injuries.
10:11 p.m. An anonymous caller on Woodview Way complained of loud music playing. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and advised a neighbor of the complaint. No music was coming from the apartment upon Officer Sanchioni’s arrival.
11:24 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin checked on Lakeshore Drive property.

June 25
2:48 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on Wilson Street property.
9:51 a.m. A Downey Place resident reported he was away and his neighbor informed him that a truck knocked down a large portion of his stone wall. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and followed up.
10:57 a.m. A Constitution Court caller complained of noise in the building. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded and spoke to a caretaker, and all was set.
11:06 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan assisted a walk-in with fingerprinting.
11:25 a.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan completed community policing on Mayhew Street.
11:25 a.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about custody questions. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted.
7:56 p.m. A West Main Street business employee reported a customer wanted to speak with an officer. Officers Brendon Lyver and Kevin Sager responded and took a report.
8:59 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle’s front wheel came off on Wood Street. Officer Tyler Brabham responded and a tow truck was requested. Officer Brabham provided the operator with a courtesy transport.
9:31 p.m. Officers Brendon Lyver and Kevin Sager completed checks of the Fruit Street fields.
11:46 p.m. Officer Brittany Firth completed checks of Echo Trail off Granite Street.

June 26
12:13 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley completed a check of the Windsor Apartments on Constitution Court.
12:48 a.m. Officer Stephen Buckley checked on a vehicle parked on Oakhurst Drive and found a DoorDash driver. All was OK.
6:34 a.m. A caller reported a telephone pole on fire on Granite Street. Officer Philip Powers responded along with the Fire Department and found no fire, but a primary wire was down. Eversource was notified.
6:37 a.m. An Ash Street caller reported a power outage and someone possibly in her house. The caller called back and stated she was all set. Officer Brittany Firth responded and confirmed all was OK.
10:24 a.m. An East Main Street caller complained of a dog barking for 45 minutes. Officer Philip Powers responded and checked the area with a negative find.
11:18 a.m. Officers Brendon Lyver and Kevin Sager responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported. A tow truck was requested.
1:40 p.m. Officer Ryan Polselli and School Resource Officer Philip Powers completed community policing at the Pride Parade at the high school track on Hayden Rowe Street.
3:23 p.m. Officers Jay Deiana and Tyler Brabham completed community policing on Fruit Street.
3:24 p.m. Police Chief Joseph Bennett completed community relations on Fisher Street.
5:30 p.m. A walk-in reported losing his brown wallet in the Victory Lane fields off Fruit Street. The incident was logged.
6:22 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana took a report of fraud.
9:01 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni took a report of fraud on Hayden Rowe Street.

June 27
12:27 a.m. Officer Tyler Brabham checked on two motor vehicles parked on Hayden Rowe Street and found them secure.
12:32 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth completed checks of Fruit Street property.
12:57 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on Lakeshore Drive property.
1:43 p.m. A motorist reported traffic was backed up on Cedar Street from the State Park and vehicles were lining up on the side of the road. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and reported vehicles were backed up to Cedar Street Extension. Officers Brendon Lyver and Philip Powers responded to assist with traffic control.
2:16 p.m. A pharmacy manager on Main Street reported a forged prescription was faxed to the pharmacy. Officer Philip Powers responded and took a report of fraud.
2:45 p.m. Multiple callers reported an alarm sounding on Hillcrest Drive. Officers Brendon Lyver and Ryan Polselli responded along with the Fire Department, and a second floor detector was sounding. Zero readings were found.
4:02 p.m. Officer Tyler Brabham responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street involving two cars. No personal injuries were reported.
4:58 p.m. A motorist reported a speeding vehicle passed her on the right on West Main Street. Officer Ryan Polselli caught up with the vehicle and all checked out OK.
5:49 p.m. The Ashland Police Department reported a yellow Mustang with a hard top passing vehicles at a high rate of speed on East Street. Officers Tyler Brabham and Brian Sanchioni responded and checked the area with a negative find.
6:36 p.m. A walk-in handed in a wallet. The incident was logged.
8:35 p.m. A Ridge Road caller reported odor coming from a gas fireplace. The gas was shut off. Officer Brian Sanchioni responded along with the Fire Department.
8:58 p.m. A Holt Street homeowner reported her 19-year-old daughter was home alone and heard something in the basement. Officers Brian Sanchioni and Ryan Polselli responded and checked the residence and all was clear.
11:56 p.m. Officer Brittany Firth completed property checks on Fruit Street.

June 28
12:12 a.m. Officer Brittany Firth checked on a vehicle on Lakeshore Drive and found it unoccupied.
12:20 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana made checks of Echo Trail off Hayden Rowe Street.
6:39 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana assisted a walk-in with an ongoing issue and took a report.
8:23 a.m. A motorist reported she had to wait six minutes for the light to turn on Main Street. Officer Jay Deiana checked the traffic lights and found them functioning correctly.
8:28 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle crash involving four vehicles and personal injuries on Main Street. A tow truck removed three vehicles. An ambulance was requested and a written warning was issued to one operator for a driving violation. A report was to follow.
10:23 a.m. A caller reported receiving suspicious information via a gaming system. Officer Jay Deiana responded and took a report.
10:50 a.m. A caller reported a person parked in a handicap spot on Cedar Street without a placard. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded.
11:40 a.m. A caller reported attempted Social Security fraud and wanted the incident logged.
2:54 p.m. A walk-in requested to speak with an officer about an ongoing issue. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted.
4:20 p.m. A caller reported a tree fell on wires on Pond Street. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and contacted Eversource.
4:36 p.m. Officer Ryan Polselli assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street and stood by while the operator awaited a tow.
5:04 p.m. A Woodview Way caller reported a bike seat was stolen from the property. Officer Robert Ekross responded and spoke with the reporting person.
5:45 p.m. A caller with a traffic complaint requested to speak with an officer. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted.
6:27 p.m. Officer Brian Sanchioni assisted a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street.
6:56 p.m. Officer Ryan Polselli responded along with the Fire Department to a mulch fire in the median on West Main Street. The fire was extinguished.
10:17 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on a person dumping trash on Legacy Farms North and confirmed it was a resident.
10:28 p.m. Officer Robert Ekross checked on a person on Loop Road and all was OK.
11:45 p.m. Officer Jay Deiana made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
