Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
Hopkinton’s latest COVID-19 update shows 37 active cases in town. It also includes vaccination information and indicates that 69 percent of residents aged 20-plus have had at least one dose of a vaccine.
This week’s Police Log includes reports of youths with marijuana, a truck hitting a stone wall, and a hacked iPhone.
In honor of Earth Day 2021, Green Team Junk Removal and the Hopkinton Sustainable Green Committee are sponsoring a drop-off event for furniture and electronics. The event is tomorrow starting at 9 a.m. and ending around noon, depending on when capacity is reached. The location will be the north parking lot of the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe St.
The Select Board has a brief meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning (9), at which time the board will consider reviewing and signing the May 8 Special Town Meeting warrant.
