The Independent is debuting a new feature in which we highlight an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. Kicking things off is Sweeney, a 3-year-old female hound mix.
The town’s Department of Public Works announced that asphalt paving is scheduled over the next few days. Drivers should expect delays and detours and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
The Hopkinton PolyArts festival returns to the Town Common this year on Sept. 18 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event, established in 1974, features regional artisans, crafters and local nonprofits.
