The School Committee could officially determine a school reopening plan next Thursday, committee chair Amanda Fargiano said at a public forum Thursday night to discuss issues related to the reopening. A School Committee working session to further discuss the issue will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The committee will host its next regular meeting March 11, when a vote could be taken.
The website AdvisorSmith named Hopkinton the safest midsize city in Massachusetts in a study released Thursday. Based on crime data published by the FBI, Hopkinton had 1.8 violent crimes and 1.6 property crimes per 1,000 residents.
The latest COVID-19 update shows 28 active cases in town and offers the latest information on the vaccination distribution schedule.
The Tri-Valley League recently named its winter All-Stars, and Hopkinton was well-represented, with a number of athletes from boys and girls basketball, hockey, track and skiing honored.
