In the spring of 2020, the number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths were increasing at an alarming rate. It was around this time that the White House COVID-19 Task Force called for volunteers with specialized backgrounds to help with various efforts to fight the pandemic. Hopkinton’s John Powers answered.
Having a forced year away from the sport they enjoy so much has given the players on the Hopkinton High School softball team a new perspective, and that energy has been palpable through the early days of the team’s time together this spring.
This week’s edition of Library Corner highlights programs on cooking and financial awareness.
