Hopkinton Today: Tuesday, Sept. 27

by | Sep 27, 2022 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Hopkinton High School football coach Mark Sanborn said the feeling was palpable after last season. No one coming back to the program this fall was pleased with the team’s 3-8 record in 2021. So the incoming senior class decided to do whatever it took to prevent a repeat performance this season.

Hopkinton resident and Dexter Southfield prep baseball standout Dante Pavone proved himself to be a standout in fundraising as well, bringing in $10,500 to support A Shot For Life during a recent baseball skills showcase.

The Hopkinton Health Department is hosting a drive-through COVID booster vaccine clinic for seniors this Friday (Sept. 30) from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Hopkinton Senior Center.

This week’s Senior Snippets includes information on programs such as Our Time Memory Cafe, Audiology Awareness Month and a presentation on financial management.

Town meetings tonight include the Elementary School Building Committee (6:30), Design Review Board (6:30) and Conservation Commission (7).
