Kathleen Marie Gross

Kathleen Marie Gross, 71, of Natick and a former longtime resident of Hopkinton, passed away Dec. 8 at Eliot Rehab in Natick. Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Bernice L. (Nichols) and John F. Madden. She was the former wife of George Gross.

Kathleen was a former employee at the Hopkinton Tax Collector’s Office, was a member of the Finance Committee and was involved in town politics. She had also been a caretaker for the elderly as a Home Health Aide.

She is survived by three children, Carol Ann Falk and her husband, Michael, Christopher Gross, and Patrick Gross and his wife, Maria. She also leaves behind her siblings, Mary Jane Laferriere and her husband, Henry, Susan Gatier and her husband, Jacques, Joanne Gauvin, and Robert Madden; as well as 8 grandchildren.

Private services were held with family. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to Hopkinton Ambulance Fund, 73 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.
