A significant asset of the Center School property is the availability of parking. Events on the Town Common need ease of parking to ensure success and safety, especially when young children and senior citizens are involved.
Specific Town Hall offices and town function meeting space could be located within the historic structure of Center School. These offices and spaces would be more accessible to the public if convenient parking was located near the school. At present there is inadequate parking or inconvenient parking for conducting certain Town Hall business or attending evening meetings.
Downtown Hopkinton needs more parking, and what better place than the Center School property?
— Rick and Beth Kelly, Hopkinton
