Letter to the Editor: Krishnan for School Committee

by | May 15, 2026 | Letter to Editor

I am writing in support of Sravana Krishna for the School Committee. I first met Sravan through the Friends of SEPAC committee, where I quickly came to appreciate his thoughtful, helpful and community-focused approach.

Having known Sravan for some time and having read his candidate statement, what stands out most is that he consistently prioritizes the work over the campaign. In conversations with him, I have seen his deep understanding of both the broader challenges facing our schools and the day-to-day realities faced by parents, including those with special needs children.

Sravan brings valuable corporate leadership experience, along with personal experience, community involvement and committee service that provide both perspective and practical insight. Strong outcomes require leaders who understand both the big picture and the details, and I believe Sravan has the experience, commitment and work ethic to help strengthen our School Committee.

I have full confidence in Sravan’s abilities and will proudly vote for him. I encourage Hopkinton residents to carefully review each candidate’s qualifications and experience before casting this important vote.

Thank you for taking the time to read my perspective.

— Simran Kaur, Hopkinton
