Letter to the Editor: Morand for School Committee

by | Apr 6, 2022 | Letter to Editor

It is with genuine excitement that I am writing to endorse Holly Morand for School Committee. Holly is a thoughtful, intelligent and well-informed candidate who I have the pleasure of knowing through her outstanding work with the Hopkinton Freedom Team. I have witnessed Holly help those in crises, calm a room, lead a large group, and ensure that all voices were heard in matters that impact our entire community. She is a fair and strong advocate committed to doing what is best for our schools.

Holly comes to the table with a wide breadth of experience, from her work as a community social worker while working directly with youth in our community, her time leading local organizations, her extensive applied science and analytical skills in her past and current careers, or her years volunteering her time to local government committees. Her professional and community experience will serve to ensure thoughtful and transparent collaboration with the community and Hopkinton Public Schools administration, and she has excelled in her other roles as a voice of experience, equity, and sincerity. The Hopkinton Public Schools, and indeed the entire community, stand to benefit greatly if Holly joins the Hopkinton School Committee.

— Stacia Friedrich Krozy, Hopkinton
