At the most recent Parks and Rec Commission meeting, many activities, plans and projects were discussed. However noticeably missing was any discussion of tree planting on the Town Common. If there is a plan, please let the citizens of Hopkinton know what it is. Many trees have been removed, and the older trees are in bad shape.
Summer activities are increasing on the Town Common, and having shade trees is important to be able to enjoy this beautiful park.
