Road resurfacing preparation work continues over next week

Hopkinton’s Department of Public Works announced that contractors will continue repaving preparation work on a handful of streets in town over the next week. Dates may change due to weather conditions.

Affected roads are:

West Main Street — From South Street to just after the Price Chopper entrance.
South Street — From West Main Street to 710 feet south of West Main Street.
South Street — From 176 South Street to the Milford town line.
Westcott Drive — From Pond Street to 760 feet south of Pond Street (the old section).
West Elm Street — From Barbara Road to the dead end.

Work hours on West Main Street and South Street will be approximately 7 p.m.-5 a.m. Work hours on all other roads will be approximately 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

One lane of traffic will be open. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.
