Town posts opening for police officer

The Town of Hopkinton has posted a job opening for a police officer. Base starting salary is $25.02 per hour, with a salary range up to $27.91 per hour. There are benefits in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, including an education incentive, shift differential and more.

This recruitment is only open to candidates who have either 1) successfully passed and received certification from a full-time police officer training academy or 2) are currently enrolled and attending the training academy as recognized by the Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC). Out-of-state applicants must contact the MPTC at 781-437-0300, mass.gov/mptc, to determine eligibility for certification.

Deadline for submission of the application, with cover letter and resume, is 4 p.m. on March 18.
