February 6

1:07 p.m. Officer Moira McGaffigan conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fruit Street and Officer Ryan Polselli responded as backup. Kazakiyah Hardy, 28, of 26 Fruit Street, was arrested on a warrant charge.

February 13

1:05 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street and found multiple occupants inside. Officers Stephen Buckley and Ryan Polselli and Sergeant Arthur Schofield responded as backup. Elicia M. Richardson, 26, of 591 East Street, Weymouth, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor, second offense. The Ashland Police Department assisted in transporting one person to the station. Two people were placed into protective custody. A tow truck removed the vehicle.

February 3

12:14 a.m. A walk-in reported being followed by a vehicle from a gas station. The individual did not want to speak to an officer or report the incident but wanted to sit in the lobby to make sure the person wasn’t following her.

11:41 a.m. A caller reported she was assaulted on Exchange Street and used pepper spray on the two assailants. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer John Corridan responded along with an ambulance. The caller refused medical attention. A report was to follow.

1:13 p.m. A Front Street resident reported arriving home and finding a woman in her driveway who drove away once she saw the caller. Officers Matthew Santoro, Jessica Ferreira and Moira McGaffigan responded and checked the house and found nothing amiss. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

February 4

2:09 p.m. A Woody Island Road caller reported his son was missing, as he had not heard from him. Officers Ryan Polselli and Moira McGaffigan responded and advised officers to be on the lookout. A report was to follow.

4:48 p.m. A walk-in reported a prior motor vehicle accident at the high school and wanted the incident logged. Sergeant Matthew McNeil assisted.

February 5

8:26 a.m. A caller reported a man who appeared agitated and was pacing on Hayden Rowe Street. Officers Matthew Santoro, Jessica Ferreira and Ryan Polselli responded and spoke with the man, who was going for a walk. All was OK.

10:04 a.m. Officer Jay Deiana reported a verbal altercation between two people at Price Chopper on West Main Street. Both parties were sent on their way.

6:21 p.m. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on Grove Street. No injuries were reported. A report was to follow.

6:31 p.m. A caller reported a big hole in the sidewalk on Church Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded and reported someone had made a cut into the pavement. He placed a traffic cone on it.

February 6

7:06 a.m. The school bus company reported a bus was stuck on ice on Connelly Hill Road. The DPW was contacted for sanding, and Officer Moira McGaffigan responded and assisted.

7:35 a.m. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Ryan Polselli and Moira McGaffigan responded to a report of a school crossing guard who was hit by a car on Hayden Rowe Street. An ambulance responded. No injuries were reported. A report was to follow.

11:48 a.m. A caller reported a man slipped and fell on Main Street. Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with an ambulance. The man required assistance getting up.

11:52 a.m. A walk-in reported losing her phone downtown the previous night and wanted it logged.

6:16 p.m. A motorist reported hitting a deer on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Derek Morton responded, and a report was to follow.

6:39 p.m. Officer Derek Morton assisted the Housing Department in checking on a possible unauthorized tenant on Davis Road. The report was unfounded.

February 7

1:09 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. No injuries were reported. Officer Ryan Polselli responded. A report was to follow.

3:49 p.m. A caller reported a tree fell down on Maple Street Extension and was blocking the roadway. Officer John Corridan responded and notified the DPW.

6:03 p.m. A caller reported a burning smell in the basement of a building. Officer Derek Morton responded and contacted the wiring inspector and Eversource.

7:31 p.m. A Washington Lane caller reported clicking on a bad link on her work computer while looking for summer jobs, which set off an alarm and a pop up to notify Windows. Officer Brian Sanchioni advised the caller.

February 8

2:56 a.m. A Lumber Street caller reported his doorbell camera caught an undistinguishable hooded person attempting to gain entry into his home. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Preston Mucciarone and Robert Ekross responded along with K-9 assistance and checked the area with a negative find. A report was to follow.

10:13 a.m. A Teresa Road resident reported her mailbox was vandalized overnight. Officers Matthew Santoro and Jessica Ferreira responded and took a report.

12:50 p.m. A Walcott Street caller reported multiple vehicles traveling down the one- way street in the wrong direction. Officer Matthew Santoro logged the incident.

3:30 p.m. A walk-in turned in boat flares. Officer Derek Morton took possession of them.

4:51 p.m. A caller reported a loose dog on Stoney Brook Road. Officer Preston Mucciarone checked the area with a negative find.

February 9

7:01 a.m. Officers Matthew Santoro and Jessica Ferreira responded to a Lifeline alarm activation on Davis Road and found the situation in control. No EMS was required.

3:44 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator who passed her on Route 135 going to Ashland. The vehicle was a dark blue Prius with a handicap placard on the front mirror. The Ashland Police Department was notified.

February 10

11:29 a.m. An Elizabeth Road caller reported his fire alarms were going off. Officers Matthew Santoro and Jessica Ferreira responded along with the Fire Department. It was determined that construction dust caused the alarms to go off.

4:16 p.m. A caller reported his daughter did not return home on the school bus and he had not been able to get in touch with the school. The dispatcher contacted the school. A change of dismissal form was submitted and the child was picked up from school.

February 11

11:05 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator on Man Street. Officer Matthew Santoro responded and caught up with the vehicle. No violations were observed. The driver was advised of the complaint.

5:27 p.m. A Blueberry Lane resident reported his mailbox was vandalized. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded, and a report was to follow.

7:06 p.m. A caller reported an individual showed up at his house and made inappropriate comments to his wife. Officer Benjamin Stickney responded and spoke to the reporting person.

February 12

7:00 a.m. A caller reported being locked out of her North Mill Street house while small children were inside. Officer Ryan Polselli responded and gained access to the home.

7:19 a.m. Officers Jay Deiana and Ryan Polselli responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hayden Rowe Street. An ambulance responded. No personal injuries were reported.

11:20 a.m. Officer Ryan Polselli responded to a report of unwanted youths smoking in a Wood Street parking lot. The youths were gone upon his arrival.

5:15 p.m. A caller requested a person check of a white male wearing jeans and a blue hoodie and going door-to-door on Colella Farm Road. Officer Derek Morton responded and checked on the person, who was working for Power Home Remodeling.

February 13

8:00 a.m. A school bus driver reported her bus was hit on Main Street and the driver drove away from the scene. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Jay Deiana, Benjamin Stickney and Moira McGaffigan responded and located the suspect vehicle at Carrigan Park on Main Street. A civil infraction for marked lanes violation and following too closely were issued to the driver. A report was to follow.

12:03 p.m. A Twin Island Road resident reported smoke and steam coming into the house from the chimney area. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officers Jay Deiana and Ryan Polselli responded along with the Fire Department. Heavy smoke was found in the basement, and the furnace was shut down and was to be ventilating.

12:28 p.m. A caller reported hanging wires were on fire on East Main Street. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil and Officer Moira McGaffigan responded along with the Fire Department. Eversource was contacted and responded to the scene.

4:22 p.m. A caller reported someone stole his wife’s identification. Officer Preston Mucciarone took a report of fraud.

6:46 p.m. A caller complained of her son trespassing. Officer Derek Morton took a report.

11:58 p.m. A Constitution Court caller reported an aggressive driver earlier in the evening. The caller was advised by the neighborhood’s property management to report it. The information was logged.
