ARRESTS

March 22
3:11 a.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Robert Ekross conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street and subsequently arrested an individual, charging him with marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of special regulation and OUI liquor.

March 17
12:34 a.m. A Chamberlain Street resident reported someone banged on his back door, and his alarm was sounding. Officers Eva Cann and Robert Ekross responded, checked the house and found all secure.
2:37 a.m. Officer Eva Cann removed tree branches that were blocking the roadway on Cedar Street.
3:20 a.m. Officer Robert Ekross found a fallen tree blocking the roadway on Exchange Street. The DPW was notified.
3:29 a.m. Officers Eva Cann and Robert Ekross reported a tree fell on wires on Cedar Street Extension, and part of the roadway was blocked. They placed barricades on the road and notified Eversource.
6:48 a.m. Officers Nicholas Walker and Eva Cann assisted the Fire Department in responding to a report of an arcing transformer on Hayden Rowe Street.
7:44 a.m. A Ray Street caller reported she had about an inch of water in her basement. Officers Augusto Diaz and Nicholas Saletnik responded along with the Fire Department.
8:36 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz assisted with drop-off at Elmwood School on Elm Street.
9:32 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted Eversource on Hayden Rowe Street.
10:27 a.m. A bus driver reported his bus broke down on Grove Street. Nobody was on the bus, and it was not blocking traffic. Sgt. Arthur Schofield responded and directed traffic until a tow truck arrived.
5:51 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked on Parkwood Drive property.
7:35 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin responded along with the Fire Department to a report of the inside odor of gas on Church Street.

March 18
12:36 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on a person in a vehicle parked on South Street. The person, owner of a local business, was smoking a cigarette and was going to move along.
8:40 a.m. A caller reported a complaint about a civil matter with a cable worker on East Main Street. Officer Benjamin Vaz responded. spoke with all involved parties and reported the issue was resolved.
9:28 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz made checks of Marathon School on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:09 a.m. A caller reported a golden retriever running loose on Marshall Avenue. Officer Benjamin Vaz and the animal control officer responded and reported the dog made its way back home.
11:44 a.m. A caller requested a well-being check of some farm animals on West Main Street. The animal control officer was notified.
1:38 p.m. A caller reported a large white dog roaming around South Mill Street. She found a name on the dog’s tag. The dispatcher gave her the owner’s address, and she took the dog home.
7:14 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani checked on a person on Lumber Street and took a report.
9:29 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour checked on a vehicle parked on Hayden Rowe Street and found the operator sleeping inside. All was OK.
9:41 p.m. Officer Justin Cappuccio checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
11:19 p.m. The Ashland Police Department reported an erratic operator entering Hopkinton. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officer Lucille Creedon caught up with the vehicle and spoke with the operator.

March 19
12:42 a.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin checked on a person in a vehicle on Main Street and found the individual on his phone. All was OK.
9:13 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello assisted Eversource with lights while crews removed a tree branch off wires.
9:28 a.m. Officer Benjamin Vaz checked on the Fruit Street fields.
11:52 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker notified Verizon of a low-hanging wire on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:18 p.m. A caller reported loud noises coming from EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street, possibly the revving of engines or vehicles peeling out of the park. Officer Noah Buentello responded and checked the area with a negative find.
3:43 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity coming from a red sedan in a South Street parking lot. Officer Matthew LaTour responded.
3:54 p.m. A Lakeshore Drive resident reported family arguments and a disturbance at the house. Officer Justin Cappuccio responded and assisted.
4:09 p.m. A motorist reported the traffic light on Hayward Street was stuck on red and would not turn green. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked the lights and found them functioning properly.
4:55 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a disabled motor vehicle in a West Main Street parking lot.
8:33 p.m. A Davis Road caller requested help bringing in her groceries. Officer Justin Cappuccio assisted.
9:33 p.m. A caller reported a blue Honda speeding on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio checked the area with a negative find.

March 20
8:07 a.m. Officer Matthew LaTour made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
8:48 a.m. A detail officer on Wood Street requested assistance with a parking complaint on Wood Street
9:07 a.m. Officer Matthew LaTour completed community policing on West Elm Street.
12:52 p.m. Officers Benjamin Vaz and Matthew LaTour responded to a motor vehicle crash on Lumber Street and took a report.
2:20 p.m. A motorist reported the light at the South Street and West Main Street intersection was blinking yellow. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and notified the Highway Department.
10:18 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin checked on a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway on West Main Street. The operator was just checking his GPS. All was OK.

March 21
1:20 a.m. Officer Jennifer Manning made checks of the Legacy Farms South trailhead.
10:11 a.m. A walk-in with questions about allowable speech spoke with Sgt. William Burchard.
11:16 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz removed debris from the roadway on Cedar Street.
11:24 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz made checks of EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.
11:25 a.m. Officer Augusto Diaz checked on Marathon School property on Hayden Rowe Street.
2:11 p.m. A motorist reported she was traveling on Wood Street and came upon two bicyclists who were in the roadway. She asked them to ride single file, and an argument ensued. The caller felt a bang from behind, so she thought they hit her vehicle. Sgt. William Burchard and Officers Matthew LaTour and Benjamin Vaz responded and issued a written warning to the operator for failure to give 4 feet to the cyclists. A report was taken.
3:41 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officers Nicholas Saletnik, Eva Cann and Brenda Stanley responded to a motor vehicle crash involving personal injury on East Main Street and took a report.
7:22 p.m. A West Main Street caller reported suspicious activity. Several individuals were in the area, and one had a camera. Sgt. Cody Normandin responded and checked on the individuals, and all was OK.
8:42 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti took a report of a stolen laptop on Wood Street.
9:14 p.m. A Woodview Way resident complained of banging in the apartment complex. Officers Eva Cann and Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the caller.
9:19 p.m. Officer Sean Mckeon assisted a person with backing out of a parking lot on West Main Street.
9:44 p.m. Officer Eva Cann made checks of Legacy Farms south.

March 22
2:44 a.m. Officer Eva Cann checked on Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
9:23 a.m. A caller reported that while walking on South Street, she noticed windows of a building broken. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded and reported the windows were cracked, and it did not appear to be a forced entry.
10:53 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officer Augusto Diaz attempted to serve a probation warrant on Summer Street, but the individual was not home.
11:18 a.m. A caller complained of an illegal burn on Valleywood Drive. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded along with the Fire Department.
12:22 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious male looking into vehicles on Main Street. Officers Augusto Diaz and Nicholas Saletnik responded ,and the person was gone upon their arrival.
1:37 p.m. A walk-in reported receiving threats. Officer Augusto Diaz assisted and took a report.
4:28 p.m. A walk-in from Forest Lane reported fraud. Officer Sean McKeon assisted and took a report.
4:58 p.m. An Uber Eats driver reported an erratic black Infinity on West Main Street. Officer Justin Cappuccio stopped the vehicle and all checked out OK.
5:53 p.m. A caller reported a golden retriever roaming near the roadway of Main Street. Officers Noah Buentello and Sean McKeon checked the area with a negative find.
6:31 p.m. A caller on Hayden Rowe Street reported her husband, who has Alzheimer’s, would not get in the car. Officers Noah Buentello and Justin Cappuccio responded and made sure the man made it home safely.
6:41 p.m. A caller in Holliston reported her husband was at a restaurant in Hopkinton, but she could not recall the name, and she wanted an officer to check on him. Officers Sean McKeon and Noah Buentello located the male, and all was OK.
8:10 p.m. A Ledgestone Drive resident reported a suspicious male walked on her property in the morning. He drove a white van. The caller wanted the incident logged.
9:55 p.m. A detective from the Middlesex DA’s office requested an officer to check and see if a vehicle was at the Colonial Avenue residence of a male who allegedly was making threats to a judge. Officers Noah Buentello and Sean McKeon responded and reported the vehicle was in the driveway. The detective was notified.
10:56 p.m. A caller reported a structure fire on Hayward Street. Multiple officers responded and assisted the Fire Department.
10:14 p.m. A Walnut Way resident reported “creepy” statements made by a male in India via Instagram. Officer Noah Buentello took a report.
11:17 p.m. The State Police requested assistance in locating a Colonial Avenue resident, who was involved in making threats. Officers Aline Matos and Robert Ekross assisted.

March 23
6:15 a.m. An employee at a West Main Street store reported a past shoplifting incident. Officer Aline Matos responded and took a larceny report.
10:44 a.m. A caller reported fallen wires on Saddle Hill Road. Sgt. William Burchard responded and notified Eversource.
11:45 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded  along with the Fire Department to a chimney fire on Stewart Street.
2:53 p.m.Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle on Exchange Street and advised a delivery driver to find a better place to park.
4:05 p.m. An employee of a South Street business reported a suspicious male loitering outside for the past twenty minutes. He appeared intoxicated. Officer Justin Cappuccio checked on the person and spoke with him, and he stated he was waiting for a bus.
6:45 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin checked on Hayden Rowe Street property.
8:27 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti made checks of Main Street buildings.
9:53 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello checked on Pratt Way property.
