Letter to the Editor: Irwin for School Committee

by | May 2, 2026 | Letter to Editor

I am writing to express my strong support for my friend Sandra Irwin’s candidacy for the School Committee. As someone who knows Sandra personally, I have seen firsthand the thoughtfulness, integrity and dedication she brings to everything she does. These are all qualities our school system can benefit from.

Sandra is deeply committed to listening to families, educators and community members. She understands that strong schools are built through collaboration and respect for diverse perspectives.

As a parent to three young children in our school system, Sandra brings a valuable, real-world understanding of our schools at multiple levels. She recognizes that decisions made today have long-term impacts on students, families and the broader community.

Sandra is exactly the kind of leader our community needs — engaged, thoughtful and focused on doing what is right for our schools. I wholeheartedly support her in this endeavor.

— Jessica Davis, Hopkinton
