POLICE LOG

June 9
12:11 a.m. A dispatcher noticed a vehicle parked on Lakeshore Drive, and two people walked away from it. On camera there were three people visible at a picnic table, and they ran toward the water. Officers Robert Ekross and Aline Matos responded and spoke with the three individuals, who checked out OK but were to head home.
1:05 a.m. A walk-in reported her autistic son went for a walk several hours earlier and had not been heard from. He was not answering his phone and she was concerned. Officer Robert Ekross spoke with the woman, who subsequently realized that she forgot what day it was, and her son was at work.
7:39 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield and Officers Nicholas Saletnik and Nicholas Walker responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash on Hayden Rowe Street. There were no personal injuries reported.
9:22 a.m. A group home on Church Street reported wires down across the driveway. Officer Augusto Diaz responded. The wires were Verizon cable lines.
9:57 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded to Commonwealth Avenue after a complaint of vehicles parking on a lawn and damaging it.
10:14 a.m. Officer Jane Rathburn-Goodman responded to Saddle Hill Road for a report about a lost cat — black and while with green eyes — that had been missing for two weeks.
10:45 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik responded to Cedar Street to assist Eversource as a crew took branches off wires.
1:21 p.m. Officer Augusto Diaz responded to Fruit Street after a report of two large dump trucks speeding. The vehicles could not be located.
3:49 p.m. A caller reported she was in a bad spot on Cedar Street and out of gas. Officers Noah Buentello and Sean McKeon assisted by giving the driver a courtesy ride to a nearby gas station.
4:17 p.m. An individual on Main Street reported a case of fraud.
5:17 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti responded to Interstate 495 North to assist the Fire Department in dealing with a two-car crash with unknown injuries.
6:46 p.m. A caller reported a hit and run and was following the vehicle that hit him. Holliston Police were notified, as the vehicle was registered there. Officers Noah Buentello, Sean McKeon and Brian Ziniti responded and spoke with the reporting person.
7:38 p.m. A caller from Cherry Lane reported two children hanging out of a moon roof. Officer Noah Buentello responded and knocked on the owner’s door. There was no answer. A neighbor said they would have the owner call the station.
8:02 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon responded to a noise complaint on Hayden Rowe Street and checked the area with a negative find.
8:15 p.m. A caller reported a gray sedan speeding up and down Valentine Road. Officer Noah Buentello responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:17 p.m. A caller requested to speak to an officer regarding receiving property from his address. The caller was to stop by the station the following day.
9:24 p.m. A Wood Street caller reported two dogs in the roadway. Officers Sean McKeon and Brian Ziniti responded but were unable to locate the dogs.

June 10
12:47 a.m. Southborough Police requested a female officer to assist with booking a female prisoner. Officer Eva Cann responded.
2:45 a.m. Officer Aline Matos checked on a school bus on Hayden Rowe Street that had its door open. She was unable to secure the door.
3:17 a.m. Officers Eva Cann and Robert Ekross checked on someone trying to get into a building on South Street. A male was gathering things from a business, and he checked out OK.
5:23 a.m. A caller from Pratt Way reported a beagle without a collar limping around, and there was no owner in sight. The animal control officer went to the location and took possession of the dog.
9:48 a.m. A caller on West Main Street reported a woman outside her residence with no shoes on. The woman’s son was located.
11:18 a.m. A driver allegedly was driving erratically, passing another vehicle at a red light. The vehicle headed down Route 135 into Ashland. Ashland Police were notified.
12:18 p.m. A party found a debit card at the State Park. Officer Shannon Casey contacted the owner of the card, who stated he already canceled it and requested that it be destroyed.
3:54 p.m. A walk-in reported a juvenile on an e-bike operating in the roadway on Wood Street. Officer Aline Matos checked the area with a negative find.
4:14 p.m. Several calls were received about a tree on wires in the roadway on Wood Street, fully blocking the road. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officers Matthew LaTour and Aline Matos responded, and Eversource was contacted.
5:54 p.m. A caller from Fitch Avenue reported sprinklers going for a while, in possible violation of the water ban. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and did not see any active sprinklers, and there was no answer at the door.
7:04 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted with a disabled motor vehicle whose owner was lost.
9:15 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin and Officer Aline Matos responded to a report of a loose dog on Main Street. The animal control officer was contacted. The dog was reunited with its owner, who lived nearby.

June 11
8:37 a.m. Officer Noah Buentello responded to a parking complaint on Grove Street. He checked on a paving company that was working but was not in the roadway or creating traffic issues.
10:32 a.m. Officer Nicholas Walker checked on a vehicle that was pulled over on Cedar Street. He advised the driver to find a better place to pull over and use their phone.
10:47 a.m. Chief Joseph Bennett responded to a call about water in a basement on Wood Street and reported that the DPW and Fire Department had control of the situation.
1:26 p.m. An individual from Norcross Road called twice to report a split telephone pole. It was not in roadway or a hazard at the immediate time. Officer Noah Buentello responded and confirmed Pole 66 had a large split. Eversource was notified.
1:29 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin answered questions for a party regarding property recovery.
4:15 p.m. Officers Noah Buentello and Cody Normandin responded to Lumber Street for a report of a disabled motor vehicle, but the vehicle could not be located.

June 12
1:34 a.m. Officer Lucille Creedon assisted the Fire Department with a fire alarm activation on Nazneen Circle.
7:47 a.m. A caller reported wires down for the last several weeks on Frankland Road. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and reported there were no wires down.
12:41 p.m. A caller from South Street reported a case of fraud. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and determined it was a civil matter.
2:45 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour responded to East Main Street after a traffic complaint and found the road to be easily passable.
3:32 p.m. A Greystone Lane homeowner reported a gray GMC truck parked in his backyard, and he was not expecting a delivery and did not know who it was. Officer Brenda Stanley responded, and the incident was logged.
4:44 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon assisted the Fire Department with a fire alarm activation on Wedgewood Drive.
5:47 p.m. Officer Kyle Quinzani assisted as the Fire Department cleaned up gas spilled from a can.
8:05 p.m. Sgt. Cody Normandin and Officers Kyle Quinzani and Nicholas Saletnik responded to Indian Brook Road for a report of four kids driving in the neighborhood. Everything checked out OK, and the vehicle was moved along.
8:22 p.m. Officers Kyle Quinzani and Nicholas Saletnik issued parking violations at Lakeshore Drive.

June 13
5:11 a.m. Officers Kyle Quinzani and Brian Ziniti responded to an inside odor of propane on Elm Street and assisted the Fire Department.
5:44 a.m. Multiple officers responded to East Main Street for a crash with no personal injuries. A mailbox was damaged. Ashland Police were asked to block off the street at Frankland Road.
7:57 a.m. Multiple officers responded to Main Street after a report of road rage where a male party got out of his car, but they did not locate the vehicle.

June 14
1:48 a.m. A dispatcher noticed on video that there appeared to be two cars and a small boat in the parking lot at Sandy Beach. Officers Eva Cann and Kyle Quinzani responded. A party was attempting to go night fishing. They were to move along.
9:42 a.m. Multiple officers responded to a road hazard on North Mill Street. The road was closed at the intersection with Ledgestone Drive. Holliston Police were to close the roadway across the town line. The DPW responded.
9:57 a.m. Multiple officer responded to Blueberry Lane after a 911 call that a white van struck a dog and took off. Officers checked a vehicle, but it was not the one in question. They checked the area for a possible construction vehicle. A piece was left at the scene.
11:04 a.m. A Pratt Way caller said she left her keys at the dog parl and was stuck at Price Chopper. Officers Victoria Fullagar and Nicholas Saletnik responded, located the keys and returned them.
11:57 a.m. Multiple officers responded to Revolutionary Way for a missing person report. A 78-year-old female standing 5-foot-3 and wearing a cheetah print jacket, gray sneakers, dark pants and dark hair in a ponytail was last seen more than an hour earlier. Officers checked 110 Grill, the West Main Street Dunkin’, Glen Road, the Town Common, Domino’s and CVS. Business on Main Street were advised. The individual eventually was located on Purchase Street in Milford and was transported to the hospital.
1:55 p.m. A caller complained about an erratic operator passing other vehicles on Main Street. Officer Augusto Diaz Jr. responded and drove to the Ashland line without locating the vehicle. The Ashland Police were notified.
1:56 p.m. Multiple officers responded to an Ash Street residence to speak with the registered owner of a vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run motor vehicle incident.
2:56 p.m. Officers Noah Buentello and Sean McKeon responded to Cedar Street Extension after a resident reported cars were parked waiting to get into the State Park, which had started denying vehicles access earlier in the afternoon.
3:14 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti responded to West Main Street for a vehicle collision with no personal injury. A written warning was issued.
3:36 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti issued parking violations on Lakeshore Drive.
5:19 p.m. Following a fire alarm activation on Hayden Rowe Street, Officer Sean McKeon assisted the Fire Department.
5:45 p.m. A caller from East Street reported a child on an e-bike. Officer Noah Buentello responded, but the child was gone on arrival.
6:30 p.m. Officer Brian Ziniti issued one parking violation on Lakeshore Drive.

June 15
2:23 a.m. A dispatcher noticed on video two individuals walking out of the water at Sandy Beach. Officers Aline Matos and Brian Ziniti responded and move the parties along.
7:34 a.m. A caller complained that a black Nissan Rogue passed her on Lumber Street aggressively and made gestures. Officer Jane Rathburn-Goodman responded, and the incident was logged.
9:19 a.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield rescinded to a report of a loose dog, a pit bull mix, on Hayward Street and checked the surrounding roads without locating the animal.
9:41 a.m. A detail officer on Pond Street requested that a homeowner be asked to move their vehicle, as work was being done on the wire above. Officer Jane Rathburn-Goodman responded but was unable to make contact with the owner.
12:00 p.m. Officer Jane Rathburn-Goodman responded to West Main Street for a report of glass in the road. The DPW was notified.
1:05 p.m. A female walk-in reported she was attacked by a dog at the dog park. A report was taken.
2:05 p.m. Sgt. Arthur Schofield assisted with glass cleanup on Lumber Street.
2:06 p.m. A caller from Wood Street reported her husband found an unattended campfire at 8:30 a.m. at the Winter Street entrance to Lake Whitehall. The Department of Conservation and Recreation was to respond, and the Fire Department was advised. The report was logged.
2:15 p.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik took a report of credit card fraud/ID theft on Main Street.
3:04 p.m. A caller on Chestnut Street reported an erratic operator all over the road, crossing the yellow lines and failing to stop at traffic lights. Units responded and checked to the town line without finding the vehicle.
4:30 p.m. A walk-in from the Conservation Commission reported a resident watering their lawn during the town’s water ban. He said he knows they are on town water and that this is not the first time it has happened. The Water Department was contacted, and a representative indicated they would have to witness the violation. The Water Department was to check on the residence the following day.
5:03 p.m. A caller from Hayden Rowe Street reported cardboard near the roadway. Officer Sean McKeon checked the area with a negative find.
7:34 p.m. Officer Noah Buentello responded and assisted a tractor-trailer that was stuck on West Elm Street. The vehicle was moved along.
7:39 p.m. Sgt. Shannon Beloin assisted the Fire Department with a house lockout on Castle Hill Road.
