ARRESTS

December 16
9:15 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a telephone pole on Fruit Street. The vehicle was unoccupied when the reporting person called. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Brennan Grimley and Matthew LaTour responded and arrested a 44-year-old Fruit Street resident and charged her with leaving the scene of property damage and OUI liquor. An ambulance transported the prisoner to the hospital with Officer LaTour’s assistance.

December 17
1:42 a.m. On West Main Street, Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officers Brennan Grimley and Alexander Stewart conducted field sobriety tests on a motorist and subsequently arrested a 28-year-old from Northbridge and charged him with marked lanes violation and OUI liquor.

December 18
12:24 a.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Hayden Rowe Street with a female occupant and a smoking car. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Brennan Grimley and Alexander Stewart responded along with a tow truck. Verizon was notified of pole damage. A 22-year-old from Upton was arrested and charged with OUI liquor.

12:18 a.m. Officer Brennan Grimley made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
1:37 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield issued an overnight parking ban citation on Blueberry Lane.
1:47 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield issued an overnight parking ban citation on Connelly Hill Road.
7:05 a.m. Sergeant Joseph Bennett and Officer Sean McKeon responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.
10:36 a.m. A walk-in reported receiving fraudulent mail. Officer Brittany Firth assisted and took a report.
12:53 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of Elm Street property.
4:02 p.m. Officer Matthew LaTour assisted a truck driver who used GPS and got stuck on Macadam Road.
4:58 p.m. A caller complained of erratic behavior and speeding on Pond Street between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The complaint was logged.
10:30 p.m. A Meadowland Drive caller reported a car outside with its lights on for several hours. Officer Matthew LaTour responded and spoke with the driver.

December 14
12:34 a.m. Officer Brennan Grimley made checks of Hayden Rowe Street property.
1:19 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield checked on Pratt Way property.
4:00 a.m. A manager at Cumberland Farms on West Main Street reported hearing what sounded like a woman screaming and saw a person walking the fence line next door. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Brennan Grimley responded and checked the area with a negative find. Employees at nearby businesses were asked and said they did not hear or see anything. The officers were to reach out to UniBank for camera footage.
4:28 a.m. An Old Farm Road resident reported a strange noise outside the residence. Sergeant Arthur Schofield and Officer Brennan Grimley responded and checked the area with a negative find.
8:03 a.m. Officer Tyler Staback responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on West Main Street. One child was evaluated. A tow tuck was requested.
10:07 a.m. Sergeant Matthew McNeil and Officer Tyler Staback responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a telephone pole on Ash Street. No personal injuries were reported. Verizon was contacted.
3:01 p.m. Officer Cody Normandin responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars on Granite Street. No personal injuries were reported.
3:03 p.m. The owner of Main Street property reported vandalism. Officer Alexander Stewart responded and took a report.
5:30 p.m. A caller reported a deer flailing in the roadway of Ash Street. Officer Alexander Stewart responded. The animal was gone upon his arrival.
8:20 p.m. Officers Cody Normandin and Alexander Stewart assisted a disabled motor vehicle and pushed it to the side of the roadway on Grove Street.
9:00 p.m. Officer Alexander Stewart made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.

December 15
12:04 a.m. Officer Alexander Stewart checked on Pratt Way property.
12:50 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on Hayden Rowe Street property.
5:04 a.m. A caller at a West Main Street gas station reported a vehicle had been parked at one of the pumps since the night before, and the driver seemed lost. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Alexander Stewart responded and checked on the individual. The Grafton Police Department had further information on the person.
7:35 a.m. A caller reported a road hazard of vehicle parked on Summer Street. Sergeant Timothy Brennan responded and spoke with the owner, who stated the vehicle had a flat tire and was to be fixed and removed later in the day.
7:36 a.m. A caller reported an injured dog on Hayden Rowe Street. Officer Tyler Staback responded and could not locate the animal.
10:59 a.m. Officer Tyler Staback responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mayhew Court involving two cars and took a report.
11:27 a.m. A detail officer reported a tractor-trailer broke down on Main Street. Officer Tyler Staback responded and assisted the disabled vehicle.
2:03 p.m. A Pendulum Pass caller reported a package he was to receive was delivered to another address. Sergeant Timothy Brennan spoke to the caller an assisted.
7:17 p.m. A Walcott Valley Drive caller reported a suspicious person was at her door and she was scared. Officer Cody Normandin responded and checked the area with a negative find and spoke with the reporting person.

December 16
12:41 a.m. Officer Alexander Stewart made checks of East Street property.
2:57 a.m. A Davis Road resident reported someone trying to open her door. Sergeant William Burchard and Officer Alexander Stewart responded and checked the area. All checked out OK.
2:33 p.m. A caller reported an outside odor of natural gas on Walcott Valley Drive. Sergeant Aaron O’Neil responded along with the Fire Department, and it was determined the odor was coming from a vehicle leaking gasoline.
4:24 p.m. A caller reported an outside odor of natural gas on West Main Street. Officer Matthew LaTour responded along with the Fire Department.
5:18 p.m. A Front Street resident reported losing a driver’s license and wanted the incident logged.
5:56 p.m. A caller reported a dispute with a tenant. Sergeant William Burchard spoke with the caller about the civil dispute, and the caller was to go through the courts.
6:11 p.m. A caller reported an erratic operator all over the roadway on Main Street. Officer Tyler Staback responded and reported no impairments. A verbal warning was issued for marked lanes violation.
6:31 p.m. Sergeant William Burchard came upon a disabled motor vehicle on Wood Street and assisted with a flat tire change.
7:37 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley made checks of Wilson Street property.
10:34 p.m. A motorist reported an erratic operator on Interstate 495 south. The State Police were notified.

December 17
1:03 a.m. Sergeant Arthur Schofield made checks of Hayden Rowe Street property.
1:28 a.m. Officer Alexander Stewart made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
11:50 a.m. A walk-in handed in a found driver’s license. A message was left for the owner.
12:50 p.m. A Pinecrest Village landlord reported a tenant just dropped off a deposit and left his dog there. Officer Tyler Staback responded and took a report.
1:40 p.m. A caller reported a loose dog bit her while she was jogging on Alprilla Farm Road. A message was left for the animal control officer.
6:04 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle struck a deer on Whisper Way. Sergeant William Burchard responded and reported minor vehicle damage and no personal injuries.
8:18 p.m. A driver reported being stuck on a dirt road on West Elm Street, and she was to call for her own tow.
8:38 p.m. A Pinecrest Village caller reported a tenant-landlord dispute. Sergeant William Burchard and Officers Matthew LaTour and Alexander responded and took a report.

December 18
12:43 a.m. Sergeant William Burchard reported a vehicle backed into a police cruiser on Hayden Rowe Street. No personal injuries were reported.
5:50 a.m. Officer Alexander Stewart made checks of Sandy Beach on Lakeshore Drive.
7:28 a.m. A West Main Street gas station employee reported property was left behind. Officer Sean McKeon recovered the items and took a report.
8:59 a.m. Officer Shannon Beloin made checks of the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
12:35 p.m. A caller reported her wallet possibly was stolen on West Main Street. Officer Sean McKeon took a report.
1:47 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle was stuck in the mud by the old boat ramp on West Main Street. Officer Sean McKeon responded and assisted the tow truck.
1:49 p.m. A caller reported a deceased deer on the side of the roadway of Whisper Way. A message was left with the animal control officer for removal.
4:28 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley took a report of possible stolen property on Saddle Hill Road.
5:55 p.m. Officer Brennan Grimley checked on Pratt Way property.
7:27 p.m. Sergeants Timothy Brennan and William Burchard attempted to serve a warrant on Rosewood Lane but were unable to make contact.

December 19
12:20 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on a motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:06 a.m. Officer Nicholas Saletnik checked on Wilson Street property.
7:33 a.m. A caller reported a school bus stuck on ice on Ash Street. The DPW was notified. Sergeant Timothy Brennan and Officer Sean McKeon responded and reported the bus was on its way.
8:45 a.m. A concerned caller reported an owl next to the roadway of Granite Street. The animal control officer was contacted.
12:44 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon made checks of the school complex on Hayden Rowe Street.
1:24 p.m. Officer Sean McKeon checked on the LNG plant on Wilson Street.
8:40 p.m. A Pinecrest Village caller reported his tenants moved the outside camera so that the owner cannot see who is coming in an out of the house. Officer Cody Normandin took a report of the civil dispute.
