by | Jun 30, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Tom Dawson loves the outdoors, and he’s putting that love to the test this year when the longtime Hopkinton resident embarks on a hike of the entire Appalachian Trail — all 2,193 miles, from Maine to Georgia.

Award-winning Hopkinton artist Michael Alfano is presenting an exhibit titled “Of Many Minds” at the Boston Harborwalk. That story and more can be found in the latest Independent Thoughts.

This week’s Police Log includes one arrest along with reports of a bottle thrown from a school bus, a woman with dementia being located, and a driver’s vehicle hitting a pole after an incident with another car.

Leading off the latest edition of College Honors, two Hopkinton students at WPI recently completed research-driven, professional-level projects that apply science and technology to addresses an important societal need or issue.
