Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Kilduff with evening of reflections, music

In honor of Tim Kilduff’s 30 years of leadership and service with the organization, the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a reception in his honor on Jan. 17 at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts.

“Tim’s unwavering dedication to Hopkinton, leadership of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, and his vision for the future through the 26.2 Foundation and the International Marathon Center have left an enduring legacy,” the registration page for the event states.

“This event is our opportunity to thank him, celebrate his journey, and look forward to the exciting chapters ahead,” it adds.

Kilduff’s departure from the chamber was announced last month. In an interview with the Independent at that time, he stated his resignation would allow him more time to focus on bringing the International Marathon Center (IMC) closer to fruition.

Kilduff serves as president of the 26.2 Foundation, which has begun working on raising funds and starting the permitting process for the IMC. The $35 million project is anticipated to be completed by 2027 if crews are able to break ground in 2025.

The reception for Kilduff will be held from 7-10 p.m. and will celebrate his service to the chamber through reflections from colleagues and friends, special musical performances and more. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Tickets are $45 for chamber members and $55 for non-chamber members. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Those interested in attending can register on the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
